Rapunzel @ Akershus?

My Dad and his SO just came back from Walt Disney World yesterday and confirmed that Rapunzel was there! That was last week on Thursday I think... This is AWESOME news!!

Did they have dinner or lunch reservations? So I know how to plan for our trip.

That is great news and I hope she stays there for our Labor Day trip.

Could this have been an isolated case where someone was training and not part of a regular rotation? I hope she's there with all the others of course, but waiting to hear more reports for now. I mean after all, didn't WDW just have this elaborate celebration hereby making Rapunzel an official Princess? Now she has to go to work with all the others! MWAH HA HA!

I wouldn't be surprised if she's been added to the regular princess rotation, given that Merida has taken over her old meet-and-greet and is now the princess in the spotlight.

We have a lunch ressie on June 19th! I would love to know as well! If Rapunzel might be there I would dress dd in her Rapunzel costume! Would love any additional info (for over planning mama)!

Subbing since I see someone is going to be eating there before we do. Our ADR is on June 25th. I'll also report back though.

We have breakfast ressies the same day!!

We might see you. We'll be there for breakfast too. Our ADR is at 8:30. We had lunch there the last time and I didn’t care for it much. I’m also not much of a lunch eater, but it was the only reservation I could get.

If she is there, the only thing knowing will help me with is adding a page for her in my children’s character meal autograph book. By the time we have this meal, we’ll be done with MK and while I'd love to avoid that line, I’m not sure I’m willing to take a chance on her not being there when we can’t go back to MK (no hoppers). I’d never hear the end of it.

I have to wonder though, did they add her for one meal or all of them and if she is added, who is gone. Now if they added her and kept the others that would be sweet.

My daughter has a Rapunzel dress but says she is wearing it for the fall festival at school. At Akershus, she'll be in a thin sundress I got on etsy. It is yellow with pink trim and has pictures of Belle, Aurora, Snow White and Cinderella on it. We'll look for your little Snow White.

They were there for dinner. Who knows if she's there for good, all I know is that she was there that night, haha. I hope she sticks around though!

I'm wondering if she'll be appearing at meals other than breakfast to boost ADR's. It seems breakfast is the popular option whenever I read about dining at Akershus here on the boards.

Can anyone confirm she is there during lunch? So far we have confirmation that she is there for dinner. I have lunch reservations over Labor Day weekend and now I am not sure if I should switch to a dinner ressie instead.

My dd and her two best friends have breakfast on the 18th as well. I really hope that Ariel, Belle and Snow White are there...they are the girls' favorite characters.

we have visited many times and did see Ariel and Mulan (two of DDs then must-sees) but never ever seen Pocahontas in the parks of restaurants. Our dream would have been there so I can understand girls wanting to see a 'missing' Princess like Rapunzel

We took a picture with Belle before dinner. Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora came to our table.

Would love a confirmed report by next Saturday (16th) as thats my ADR day. Was planning on booking breakfast, but may switch to lunch or dinner if Rapunzel will be at one - or even both of them. It would sure beat standing in a line to meet her, which I'm sure DD would insist we do!!

See my post above. If she is there, it is only a sometimes, not guaranteed affair. I believe 1 person said their father saw her there. No one else has reported seeing her.

Thanks, we must have been posting the at the same time!

Perhaps I'll ask the dining CM when I call next week and see what answer I get!!
