RANT: Waterpark pool.....

I know this has been posted before by Jegrezo, and I dont want to bump up an old thread, so I just wanted to post this.

Even though I visit the waterpark pool very rarely, every time I enter the waterpark pool I see someone stand on water, and then there is the other person not standing on water asking the other person how to do it. But thats not the part that bugs me, the part that bugs me is that the people who stand on water ask the other players to give them something so they can tell you the secret. I HATE when I see this...It just makes me gag. The first couple times I saw this I would tell the players that you shouldn't do this...but they end up not listening...why bother?

How do you walk on water..?

My daughter knows how to walk on the water. She's tried to show me, but I didn't really understand how she did it. Anyway, people are always asking her how she does it. She is polite and explains how. Once there was someone who was asking for things to tell others how to walk on water. To circumvent this rude player, DD just told everyone there how to do it so the player asking for things would get nothing She still does it when ever she sees anyone asking for items for the information.

Ok here is how.
You have to have your own quest kiosk
You make a task in the kiosk to find an item in the water.
Place one item in the pool then when you go back to your kiosk
and double click that task it takes you and places you on top of the water on the item you placed and you walk.


When you want to walk again you just double click your kiosk and double click that task and you are walking

You can also swim headless with just your eyes showing if you use magic like car and drive over the splash in areas! That is once you are walking on the water. How cool is that Have fun!

LOL I'm doing it and people are like, "How are you doing that?!" I tried as best I could to explain, but they aren't getting it! Thanks a bunch for telling me how to do this!

since we know how now, anytime we see someone offering stuff to learn the secret, we can just tell them

This is one of those things that should be put into the Scam Alert on the home page newsletter... they could say don't pay this is how you can do it if you have these items...

I totally agree... and I have taken to just sitting inthe pool waiting for certain repeat offenders (socks we cant post their titles!) and then I wait until they ask for pay, report , then tell everyone in the pool how to do it for free

Just tell the player asking how to walk on water, that way the person won't scam anyone for telling them something that many people already know.

You know, just a couple days ago I was standing in the pool

I tried (some couldnt understand in vmk speak LOL) to teach EVERYONE who asked. so this doesnt always happen at the pool. I do hate to see people try that scam too tho.

grumpy, you can get there from your own blizzard beach and typhoon lagoon guest rooms also.

You can only reach the waterpark pool when you exit either a Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon guest room.

1. buy a Typhoon Lagoon room.
2. Enter room.
3. Exit room.
4. POOF! You are entering the waterpark pool.
5. Have fun swimming or being a lifeguard.
