Rank the resorts you've stayed at!

Have only begun staying on-site as an adult, but here goes:

1. AKL - wonderful!!!!
2. CBR - we enjoyed, even before the rehab. Don't mind the walk.
3. Swan - just not very "Disney" to me, but can't beat staying for free on SPG points.
4. Pop Century - I'm with TigrLvPooh - the theming is neat, but oh the small rooms and all the people! This was just for the 1st night on the trip we just got back from, but I was happy to get out of there. If it was my only choice to stay on-site, then that might be another story...

We've got a ressie for POFQ in December, but might upgrade to WL if AP rates come out or rent points for BCV.

I'd like to try them all - except for CSR and the All Stars. They just don't appeal to me.

I have only been to 3 true disney resorts thus far - although my mom is a travel agent so I have seen them all except a few.

I leave on Friday for the Poly - I am almost positive it will be my fav since I eat at Ohana's everytime we go and every CM just seems so much nicer there than anywhere else we haved stayed. The valet was so nice to my dd and the front desk CM came over and gave her a lei just because. She really liked that. The wait staff is always fantastic and it is our fav restaurant in WDW. I also drool when I walk around the grounds

DVC resorts included

1. BWV/BWI - I find the resort absolutely charming in every aspect.
2. CR (Tower) - CONVENIENCE AND VIEW LIKE NO OTHER - needs better patios.
3. Poly - Just got back and must say it is very nice. A little less convenient than CR and the shower head is for the vertically challenged.
4. AKL - I really really like this resort. Tho far from other parks, buses don't share with other resorts so it's not bad.
5. OKW - Realy exceeded my expectations, but if we didn't have our car, it might rank lower
6. SSR - Enjoyed a room that was maybe used once. Home resort - I have to want to go back, eh?
7. Dolphin - Very comfy, good restaurants, close to Epcot.
8. POFQ - This should rank one higher if it wasn't for the beds at Dolphin
9. WL/VWL - Expected more tho.
10. CR (N Wing) - Convenience to MK overides all negatives
11. GF - We had a wonderful room over the water but the resort just wasn't us.
12. SOG - proximity good, but no Disney feel for obvious reasons.
13. CBR - just didn't do a thing for us - if only it was more like OKW

First of all I'd like to thank TigrLvsPooh for posting her experience because I always wanted to try the cabins at Fort Wilderness too, and I really think I wouldn't like them because of the reasons she's given. Reading things like this are a lot of help!

I don't have much experience with moderates or value resorts because before these it was "Days Inn" for us! That would go at the bottom of the bottom! But we still loved being there because we were at WDW!!!

1. Polynesian - just loved the lushness of the place in combination with my nightly Pina Colada (I know I can get them anywhere, but they just go better at the Poly)

2. GF - Beautiful, but still not my favorite

3. Dixie Landings - Actually, I probably liked this almost equally as well as the GF

Stayed at the Contemporary years ago as a kid and LOVED it, but now it just seems there are so many better places to stay. I want someplace that has nicer grounds to stroll through, and a themed pool.
