The disboard and all the wonderful contributers were so helpful to me as I planned our just completed onsite trip to DLR/GCH March 1-6. Much of the enjoyment of the trip was planning where to eat for TS and CS after hearing many good things about the restaurants here on the boards. It was intereresting to me to compare my actual experience with what I had been expecting. Prior to this trip, I had never eaten at any place on my list except for BB and Dole Whip so practically all were first experiences. Here is my ranked list of eateries, from most favorite to least favorite.

1. Catal, Dinner (Balcony)
2. Jolly Holiday, Lunch
3. Blue Bayou, Lunch
4. Dole Whip, Snack
5. Cucina Cucamonga, Dinner
6. Offsite – Hennessey’s, Seal Beach, Lunch
7. Storytellers, Dinner
8. Cozy Cone, Lunch
9. Ghirardelli, Dinner (Sundae lol!)
10. Mint Julep, Snack (Mickey Beignets)
11. Starbucks DTD, Breakfast
12. Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta / Paradise Grill, Dinner
13. Flo’s Diner, Snack
14. Corn Dog Castle, Snack (probably not again – was OK, but dough tasted burnt and I was expecting the best corn dog ever after all my reading here)
15. White Water Snacks, Breakfast (probably not again – light eaters, muffins ordinary, can get something better closer to Esplanade, was very crowded on a light DLR day)
16. Steakhouse 55, Breakfast (definitely not again – did once to cross off bucket list, no windows/stuffy, too much money for breakfast such as my $10 oatmeal, many other alternatives fit us better, but we need to mention that the customer service was exceptional!)

These are my perceptions. My DH would have a slightly different order and rank Steakhouse 55 higher because he liked his huevos rancheros (but not so much the windowless environment).

How would you personally rank the meals on your last DLR trip, and which would you not do again?

Here's a compilation of trips, but mine would go like this:

Napa Rose Dinner
C33 Dinner
C33 Lunch
Cafe Orleans Lunch
Cove Bar Lunch/Dinner
Blue Bayou Lunch/Dinner
Trader Sam's Dinner/Drinks
Drinks at Carthay Lounge/1901
Plaza Inn Lunch
Karl Straus Beer Truck
Ralph Brennan's for Beignets
Mint Julep Bar (beignets, coffee, mint Juleps)
Hearthstone Lounge Drinks
SH55 Breakfast
Carthay Circle Dinner
Dole Whips
Harbour Galley/Pacific WHarf for a chowder bowl (the lobster roll at HG is not good)
Cozy Cone
Stagedoor Cafe/Golden Horseshoe
Bengal BBQ
Any Churro/Popcorn/Turkeyleg/corndog cart.
Naples Pizza
Ariel's Grotto
Story Teller's Breakfast
White Water Snacks
Flo's Breakfast
Taste Pilot's Grill
Paradise Grill
Cucina Cucamonga
Plaza Inn Breakfast
Tortilla Joe's

Hmm....great thread.

Here are mine:
1-Catal-balcony-dinner
2-Blue Bayou-lunch & dinner. Hint-Ask for the earliest lunch time available, u can then, usually, request a table by the water.
3-Naples-sit outside.
4-Steakhouse 55-a bit pricey, but so good.
5-Cafe Orleans
6-Uva Bar
7-Wine Country Trattoria

Oh, and I love the Starbucks in Downtown Disney, especially if you're staying onsite.

Plaza Inn- always número uno.
Bengal BBQ
Hearthstone Lounge
River Belle Terrace
Corn Dog cart
Naples in DTD
Whitewater Snacks
Award Wieners
Various along the wharf in DCA

We ate either in our villa or mostly counter service. Honestly, we didn't have a bad meal the entire trip.

It seem like the choices and the food get better almost every year we go. A couple of exceptions are the crispy chicken salad at the Golden Horseshoe (too little chicken now and dry) and the service at Ralph Brendons - not because of the waiter but because they jammed us into a small area when half the restraint was empty (literally).
Otherwise I thin it continues to improve.

1. Blue Bayou-dinner
2. Rainforest Cafe- Dinner in DTD
3. Begal BBQ-lunch or dinner
4. Hungry Bear Restaurant-lunch or dinner

We liked the Earl of Sandwich in DTD. We stopped for dinner our first night and returned for lunch the next day.
Second night ordered a pizza from Marris' and ate in the hotel room. Everyone liked the pizza so much we did the same thing the next two night also. Fine pizza for a very reasonable price.

Park food doesn't compare to the offerings outside. The only place that makes the list is Bangel Barbacue. However, the cost really sours it.

It's hard to rank such a varied list but here are my favorites for table service

Carthay Circle
Catal (nice to see it listed above, it's often forgotten)
alfresco terrace
Cafe Orleans

Tortilla Jo's, although tasty, isn't a top recommendation. Service was typical for a tourist area. Have only done express counter for the Jazz Kitchen. It's hard to judge to go orders fairly. especially anything fried.

Least favorites are buffet character dinning. Really not for us. $30/pp can be spent at other locations. Also not a fan of the Wine Country Trattoria. Also meh. It's ok. I'm weirded out that the French Market (?) was/still is? Sponsored by Stoufers.
