I saw it too, how freaking cool was that!!??? I've been a baseball fan since I've been about 8 (I'm 36 now), and it's the first one I've seen. Awesome, congrats Randy!!! Thank God for MLB Extra Innings!!!!

Wow that's great! Even though he's not a Yankee (yet) I have to congratulate him.To pitch a perfect game is so hard, I can't believe that Don Larson did it in the World Series.

I thought I was going to see my first perfect game a few years back when Mike Mussina was close to one in the 9th against the Bosox.

This Yankee fan does appreciate good baseball!

That is awesome. Congratulations to the "Big Unit". He is the oldest pitcher ever to throw a perfecto at 40 years, 251 days.

Interestingly enough, it is the 6th anniversary of the perfecto David Wells threw at Yankee Stadium in 1998. This must be a hot day for the pitching gods

DH and DS were watching the game upstairs - I thought they were going to come through the floor!

DS (8) got the nickname "Mr. Baseball" from his little league coach this season. The child LOVES the game.

The fact that he is a huge D-Backs fan made it even better.

What an accomplishment!

We were lucky enough to see Bronson Arroyo throw his perfect game last year at AAA Pawtucket, and that was AMAZING. I cannot imagine the electricity at the major league level. And to do it at 40?? WOW!

I'll never forget the All-Star game...Randy was pitching to John Kruk....Kruk just moved out of the way. Johnson has one heck of an arm!!!
