Randy Chapman Preview Album- How big are these?

How large are the photo's in Randy Chapmans preview album? Does this actually pass off as a photo album (with actual photos?) or is it a piece of paper with all photos printed on them?? Is this a photo album that looks like a photo album (i.e. you would want people to look at when invisioning your big day) or is it for you to look at all the photos and decide if you want to have them reprinted?

Also- what is the fee to upgrade these to standard size photos?

They are full 4x6 images in a photo album without the proof watermark on them.

There is approx 200 photos in it, it is a pretty large album.

Mine actually has over 400 proofs in it. I had an intimate wedding and every photo was in the proof album.

that's a huge difference between Janine's 200 pics and Tammy's 400 pics - were they both the standard 3 hour package, or did Tammy have extended time with Randy?

Thanks for posting the photos! We've hired Randy for our intimate. We're only doing the 3 hour package so almost all of of photos will probably be included. The album looks great.

HAHAHA!!! Randy is still cheaper than Disney photography as I had seen... I love Randy's work though. Our engagement pics are fabulous!!

Very true! Disney photography is awful expense wise!!! Randy does good work, but I can't afford him for much more than 3 hours because then you have to add all the extra escort fees and everything too! We're still working on it

I would actually disagree. Randy is extremely competitive and you certainly wouldn't get anyone of his calibre here int he UK for those prices.

With Photography, you do actually get what you pay for and you should consider the cost against the length of time the photos will last. If Randy does the business then you will have a stunning set of photos for the rest of your life.

We had Randy for 10 hours and got two FULL proof books.

I was an intimate bride on 18th Oct now a depressed cold brit!

We had Randy on his basic package. Think its just over $600. I was only expecting a disc with the photos but no - we met him 1 week after the wedding he gave us an album full of over 400 photos. He also gave us 2 discs. 1) with everything in the album and 2) with everything plus more he couldn't fit in. The guy was amazing there is no way in UK you could get someone so professional and that quick for that price.

Brit tip (and those flying). Keep in mind size and weight of album we had to buy another case and still were over on our allowance. x

Congratulations on your recent wedding!

400 photo's is just the reason that we chose Randy as well (we paid him a deposit with 15+ months to go we wanted him so bad!). I've never heard of anyone getting 2 discs from him.
I did worry about taking all the photo's home - was your luggage allowance 2 or 4 cases for the 2 of you?

I had a custom wedding with Randy. I can't tell you how many hours we had total...I got 4 of those proof books and around 1600 pictures. We had Randy for the Wedding Day, Illuminations, Bridal Breakfast, and Rehearsal dinner.

We actually took ours as hand luggage as we didnt want to chance it in the suitcase.
We signed up with the DVC during our stay and they gave us a complimentary canvas bag, which the album fitted nicely into.
