It is not set in store that you will be able to trade in your DPS package for a honeymoon photoshoot. With that being said, I have seen many wedding photos that Randy did and they are wonderful! However, Don't let only getting 12 pictures from DPS scare you. You may purchase all your proofs from DPS for $225 (at least that was the price in 2004, it may have gone up). After that, you have to pay for any enlargements or reprints and the cost for that seems pretty comparable to what other photographers rate would be. I guess it all depends on what you want out of your photography. Do you want a ton of pictures? Do you want to save money? Do you want the photographer to be there to get getting ready shots of you in your room?
You can always add extra hours on to your DPS package if you want them to start earlier or stay much later. My only suggestion to you if you choose to go with DPS is to be specific in the shots that you want. I didn't do this, and I felt that the photographer missed a lot of things I would have wanted pictures of. Good luck with your decision.
