Sorry if someone has already mentioned this, but I was just browsing around today and went to Randy's website; it looks amazing. You have to click on his Story Book Albums link, his work is just incredible.

I also like the Story Book Album on Chapman's website. Isn't it weird that an outside vendor could make a normal album much more "fairy tale" than Disney does.

I wonder how much Chapman charges for making a normal album to be like this type of story book album.

i just went and had a look at his site and i thought it so good i decided to contact him and get some prices on his packages i am having an intimate wedding and we were happy to just have the disney photos included but not now
altough it will only be me DF and out 2 boys and just wondering how randy works when it is just the four of us anyone had randy when it is only a small wedding?

was it just you and your husband or did you have other family members with you? i am quite a shy girl when it comes to photos and i am a little worried that i would feel embarassed (sp?)having pictures done with just the 2 of us

We had my parents, brothers, best friend, brother's in laws, and best friends mom there. The majority of the pictures that he took were just the two of us. After the ceremony we had about 45 minutes of pictures done with just us all over the Polynesian, we had the best time doing it and looking back on the pictures just makes us smile with the oh do you remember when we had to do _________

I wouldn't be embarassed at all, he is a sweetheart who puts you at ease the minute you meet him and his work is excellent!

I also enjoyed looking at his new site, and the sample photos...it got me really excited! My wedding is 11/28 and he is photographing my wedding, and I can't wait to see my pics!

About his movie posters...I also have Stan contracted, and when I talked with him last week, he told me that he is actually the one doing the posters for Randy. Since I have them both booked, he told me that I would actually order the poster from Randy, because he is the one taking the pics to include in it, but that I would actually work with Stan when deciding on design and layout. According to Stan, they both charge the same price for the poster.

How cool--I just visited Randy's new site and I saw that my engagement photos from the Magic Kingdom made it onto his site! woohoo!

Speaking of which, Randy is AMAZING....just listen to what he did for my husband and I just last week during our wedding: The day of our wedding (Nov 1) was pretty rainy, so we weren't able to get any outdoor/beach shots at the pavilion. At the end of the reception, Randy actually volunteered to meet us at the pavilion 2 days later at 7:30 am (right after our MK photo shoot) and he took HUNDREDS of outdoor pictures of us all over the beach, on the grass, on the bridge, etc. He spent an hour taking all of these extra pics of us!! He is the nicest guy ever--he actually said that he couldn't imagine us not having those sort of pics as a part of our wedding photos, which is why he did it. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. It makes me tear up just thinking about it! I'm DYING to see the pics So, future Disney brides, the moral of this story is: HIRE RANDY!!

I related this story to a Disney photog (the not-so-nice and not-so-creative guy who did our MK shoot), and he basically said, yeah us Disney photographers wouldn't do that sort of thing, to which I replied, well thank god I booked Randy and not Disney for our pictures then

I know how you must have felt with the rain...we had rain during out mk photo shoot and didn't get any pictures in front of the castle- i only wish that Disney photography could have done something to make it up to us. What we got turned out well, but we didn't really feel like we got our money's worth... Just out of curiosity...do you mind if i ask who you had for your mk shoot?

I just posted this in the other photo thread....


We're paying $725 that includes an extra hour (package includes 3) and a Black and White upgrade. I'm not exactly sure what the original price for the package was I don't have my contract handy but both upgrades were an addition $100 and I also had a coupon from the Disney wedding book. But that'll hopefully give you an idea.

This includes all of my pics in 4x6 he said about 100-150 in an album and a high res cd with all of my pics to do with as I like I own the copyright.

P.S. almost forgot, Randy can take pictures of you anywhere not in a park, so if you want to have pics done at the Grand or WL or where ever that's fine.
