As you may know, Randy Chapman and STVS Video have package deals which are at a great price!

Well now they want to hear from the brides on the Disboards.

Due to the economy, Stan and Randy want to create fair packages for upcoming brides but want to know what is important to you.

They would like to create three packages (8 hours, 7 hours and 6 hours). If you could create a package based on the aforementioned hours what type of coverage would be important to you? Ceremony and reception dances? Pre-Ceremony coverage, ceremony and reception? Also, what type of price do you believe is fair for this coverage. Please take into consideration the time it takes for them to edit and make the videos and photos even more beautiful. The prices should be realistic. Please also keep in mind this is for a package deal. Photography AND videography.

So create a photography/videography package and add a realistic price to it and give your opinion! Please note, the package you create is not the package you would get, this is a survey to see what Disney brides are looking for so that they can create all new packages to offer.

I am VERY interested in how this turns out! As a future Escape bride in the planning stages with an ever shrinking budget, I am sort of feeling forced to cut out videography & outside photography, and I REALLY would love to be able to pick up an affordable package to accomodate the Escape wedding!


I have no idea what fair prices are for this type of package but things I really want covered are:

Ceremony
Cake cutting
Toast

if I can swing it
Dessert Party

things I dont need as much coverage of or dont care as much about are:

getting ready pics ( dont need a lot fo these maybe a couple)
the lunch/dinner (since its just that not really a reception)

I would LOVE to see a few packages from BARE BONES and up with different levels of add ons. Since the scape wedding does a really nice job of sqeezing the ceremony & cake cutting together before the luncheon, I might be willing to get a package that just covers that and a couple of photos on the beach after. Id cut the dessert photo & video if it would make my budget work. But Id hate to have to.


I am so interested in hearing from former brides about what pics they cherish the most, and which ones they dont care as much about


also interested in those who did CD only packages & then printed their own pics, how did that work out

I think this sounds great too-
however, my question is how do they do the DP? I'm really confused about that? Actually, I think that's a big downside to using outside photography now, is you have to have disney still do the DP and then if you want the cd, you still have to buy it through them. If they could do the DP, obviously that would remedy the situation. I LOVE randy's pictures! And I love how they really do great packages so brides can afford good pictures!!

I just wanted to say that if you are thinking of using Randy or Stan...DO IT!! They were amazing, continue to be amazing after the wedding, and provide amazing work!! They are so great to work with and a great value for what you're getting! Please complete the survey and let them know what YOU want! As a past bride that has used them both, I would have paid twice what we paid over again....they were amazing and I have NO regrets with either of them. We loved them, our family and guests loved them, and I'm sure you guys will too!!

We used Stan and STVS for my son's wedding in December. Just got the finished video and it is WONDERFUL!! He captured so many moments that we missed that day and it was great being able to "re-live" it all over again. I am so happy that I encouraged them to pick STVS and I'd tell any bride that it's money well spent. Stan (and Bonnie) are awesome!
