Pastpartout. Book - French man settling down as a servant. Movie - Chinese Thief becoming servant to hide from the police.

Reason to go. Book - wager set after reading in the newspaper it would take 80 days to travel the world. Pastpartout upset. Movie - wager set after Phileas Fogg calculates to time it takes. Pastpartout came up with the idea.

Robbery. Book - Unknown person who looks like Phileas Fogg steals £50,000 from the Bank of England. Movie - Pastpartout steals a statue from the Bank of England.
