I agree that COP is a ride. But I have heard people who would claim it is a show and not a ride at all.Syrreal said:IMO, COP is definitely a ride. I sit on it and the seat moves me to the next section. I ride the seat.![]()
All joking aside, I love COP

That is true, The Contemporary was built that way.Chester's Mum said:I don't know how true this is, maybe I'm a sucker. I read that when the Contemporary resort was built, the rooms were all modular, and were designed to be removed if they needed repairs or refurbishment, and then reinserted. Sounded really cool when I read it, sounds outlandish now that I'm saying it...![]()

The building we know to be the Dolphin was originally supposed to be the Swan, and vice versa. When the construction crew mistakenly put the huge dolphin statues on top of the wrong (Swan) hotel, it was decided that it would be easier to change the hotel names than to take the statues back down and put them where they belong!

*To keep the 200 or so props in THE HAUNTED MANSION looking untouched and dusty, Disney buys five-pound bags of Theartical dust ,known as "Fuller's Earth", in large quantities. There has been enough dust since the atractions opening in 1971 to bury the mansion completely!
