How do you know this? I have heard here and on other messageboards that the KTTK guides tell them that it has been Tinkerbells and Tinkerbills!

I know a person that works at the Disney Archives and they said that there is no TinkerBill and there has never been one.

Now, about the KTTK tour; there have been CM's that stretch the truth, like the ones on the buses and monorails, but I've never been on the KTTK tour so I dont know what all they've said. But I know a good bit of people that work for Disney. I had dinner with two of them and my aunt one time at Jiko's. They both said that sometimes they just make up stuff like TinkerBills for kicks to see what the reaction of people will be. So I'm pretty darn sure that there is no TinkerBill, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm not.

Well the OP is probably getting frusterated because this is supposed to be a forum about Random WDW info and here we are debating over Tinkerbells and Tinkerbills. lol

Disney Ghosts.....

Orlando - Disney World - Pirates of the Caribbean - The spirit of "George" a worker who died there when a beam fell on him during construction still haunts the attraction. At the beginning of the day and at the end of the day attractions workers must come on the PA system and tell George good morning and good night. If not the attraction has been know to shut itself down adding more work before the workers came go home for the night. - March 2004 Addition/ correction - when the ride was being built in the early 70's (it opened Dec. 15, 1973) , George was a welder who clearly, welded different parts of the scenes on the attraction together. One particular area on the ride, called the "burning city", required George to climb up quite high above the ground. George lost his balance, and fell to his death. If you talk to any of the employees at pirates, they will either know of someone who has had an incident with George, or there is a chance they move have had one themselves.

Okay. I know a CM personally and I just aked him and he said that there are no men that dress up as girl charecters. Have you personally seen a man getting into a girl charecter's costume? :crazy2: :scared:

Yep... Have seen it with my own eyes..

yeah when i went on the KTTK tour the woman told us that sometimes Tinkerbell is a man......although lately i've heard it's only women who are on it now. but that's what she told us......of course, they don't tell any of this information while they're walking around the parks, it's when you're "underground" that they share all the strange info.

When we went to AK last, my sister asked a CM why some of the Meer Cats stand on their hind legs and look around. He told he they were watching out for danger. He also told her that they're not the brightest crayon in the box, because they've been here four years and are yet to twig that there has never been and will never be any danger :thumbsup2

Funny, A friend of mine talked to one of the lead techs who happened to be standing next to him at Illuminations one night and he told him it was around only $3,500. Disney is the largest purchaser of fireworks in the world and thus gets a good price.
The actual price tag for Illuminations is around 35,000.

The entire outside of the ball is smooth, it just LOOKS like the triangles are sticking out all over the place.

Enjoy.
Um.. No that is false. The triangles are sticking out all over the place.

Some of the shells are made specifically for Disney. However the shells themselves are purchased from a variety of vendors around the world.

Information about how many cast members perform each type of job is not publicly available. As for water/electricity. Through the Reedy Creek Improvement District Disney operates it own water and power services. Reedy Creek Environmental Services (water) and Reedy Creek Energy Services (power) provide the services. They also operate their own water treatment plant. While the do generate a percentage of the power they use, much of the power is purchased by RCES from Progress Energy.

As for water use on average they use about 14,000,000 gallons of drinking water, and about 5,000,000 of reclaimed water for irrigation every day. For a total of 19,000,000 gallons a day or 6,935,000,000 gallons each year.

The coaster track for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster was built first then the building was built around it.

According to the managing chef at Victoria and Albert's, no one has ever said 'no' to a proposal in their restaurant. :goodvibes

Yeah but that doesn't mean someone didn't regret not saying it... :rotfl:

Cant prove this but have been told that there is a full apartment in the castle because Disney was going to stay there but he ended up not.

This is true but after Walt's death it became first the telephone operators office and now is used for storage. I'd give the world to stay there!

While the "ring" is there. The way I understand it, the ring was not placed there by the Imagineers. But in reality is just a left over piece of a gate from when they were moved. When you actually see the thing you will see that other than being a round piece of metal it really doesn't look like a ring at all. Not to mention she would of had to have had really very thin fingers.
