RAWR! I need to find out the thrust of a helicopter for it to hover. It's 8000kg. I don't have the acceleration... Does that mean the acceleration is 9.81...

WAIT! I just read that the thrust needed for it to hover, is the same as it's weight. That means the thrust is 8000N!!!

So for it to accelerate upwards at 1.4ms^-2, then that should be 8000 x 1.4, which is 11200N
