Well I'm becoming interested in going into the book publishing/editing field. The thing is, the colleges I'm interested in - and can afford - don't offer publishing as a "real" major... I was thinking a major in English or literature and a minor in business but I'm not 100 percent sure.

That's tough but I bet that's the way to go. To get into publishing you would definitely need those three.
