Year 9, so you've been going to school 9 years?
See, I'm in 9th grade but I've been going to school for 10 years (kindergarten isn't a number grade level) So yes, you'd be in 8th grade, aka Middle School.

TTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNTTTTTTTTTTYYYYYYYYYYYYY TTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE DAYS! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

nope.
you start school when you are three, so i've been going to school for 10 years.
PRIMARY SCHOOL:
Pre-Reception - 2-3 (nursery basically)
Reception - 3-4
Kindergarten - 4-5 (when you finally start learning stuff instead of colouring all day :rotfl:)
Intermediate (year 1) - 5-6
Transition (year 2) - 6-7
Lower 1 (year 3) - 7-8
Upper 1 (year 4) - 8-9
Lower Two (year 5) - 9-10
Upper Two (year 6) - 10-11
my school only had those names (lower one etc) cause it was a private school, all the state schools just call them year 1 etc.

SECONDARY SCHOOL:
Year 7 - 11-12
Year 8 - 12-13
Year 9 - 13-14 (wooo!)
Year 10 - 14-15
Year 11 - 15-16
Year 12 (you can leave school to go to college or another Sixth Form at this stage, but you need GCSE's and you need to take tests to get into the other sixth forms, even if its the school you are at) - 16-17
Year 13 - 17-18

then you leave school and start work or go to university!

my cousin has been in Times Square for NYE, she was on a gap year playing basketball in Nebraska, and her and the girl she was staying with flew to NYC for NY. (:

I love Dick Clark. And I've been in Times Square during New Year's Rockin' Eve. It's freezing, it's crowded, it's loud, it's AMAZING.

I'm jealous, I've always wanted to go. I've always wanted to go to NYC during NYE and for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Both times it's freezing outside, but it'd totally be worth it. Although, I do enjoy watching both in my living room (by the fire, for NYE) and drinking hot chocolate. That's not too shabby either.

If you count preschool then I've been in school for 11 (:
You can start preschool when you're 2, I think. I started when I was 4.

Then
Elementary School
K- 5/6
1- 6/7
2- 7/8
3- 8/9
4- 9/10
5- 10/11

Middle School
6- 11/12
7- 12/13
8- 13/14

High School
9- 14/15
10- 15/16
11- 16/17
12- 17/18

Of course, some people are off a year because they start elementary school early, depending on when their birthday is. But that's the normal.

Then you go to college for 4 years
Then you either go to Law School or Medical School, if you want to work in either of those fields.

That's cool! I've always wanted to go, but there's loads of drunk adults/college kids xD

Been to both. I was freezing the entire time but it was pretty fun.

But, I think the best place I ever was on New Year's Eve for a celebration was in Sydney. It was AMAZING.

IT'S BROTHER WEEK - If you have a brother who's made you laugh - made you mad - tortured you - stuck up for you - drove you crazy - hugged you - watched you succeed - saw you fall - picked you up - cheered you on -made you strong - blew you up- can't do without, copy and paste on your wall.

Bolded are the things my brothers have done to/for me(: Yeah, that's everything on that list

excuse me, we do it pretty damn well too! xD

we have NY rituals in our house, we always watch those fireworks on the tv, then we hug and say happy new year, and then we watch Jools Holland and then something like Airplane or Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Double lucky!
I will go to both before I die.
There was actually 4 different times I want to go to NYC the most- Summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and NYE

I've accomplished 2/4 of those.

excuse me, we do it pretty damn well too! xD

Our fireworks for 2000 weren't that good...

Thanksgiving- I've celebrated it in Florida and NC
Christmas- I've celebrated it in NY, NC, and Florida
NYE- I've celebrated it in NC and Myrtle Beach

Yes, I've put off all my homework.

I've got Geometry from the text book
World History vocabulary from the text book
and a Business Study Guide for the test tomorrow that I won't be studying for

Isn't my guides scarf legit? xD I got it tonight because I was one of the three people that went to Switzerland in February. Remember that George? I was SO scared about going xD

omg I'm really pissed off about today! I lost my homework diary somewhere, I forgot my pencil case and now I can't find my health book I've been taking into English for my project :|
