Oh after Thanksgiving ALL radio stations play Christmas music nonstop here.
There's only one right now that's playing Christmas music nonstop I LOVE IT.

No stations near us play non-stop christmas music D-: They'll play some occasionally, but not non-stop.

That really stinks. I love all the Christmas stations that constantly play Christmas music!
Now they're starting to show a whole bunch of Christmas/Thanksgiving/Black Friday commercials on TV, too

Whoooooo we're having Thanksgiving TOMORROW!
LOL, we're having a pre-Thanksgiving at my Grandma's because my aunt and uncle aren't going to be in the US for Thanksgiving. They've got to go over to Afshanistan or something (they're in the army). So we're having "Thanksgiving" tomorrow!

It's gonna be me, J, Joe, my mom, my dad, my grandma, my grandpa, my aunt, my other aunt who is going to Afghanistan, my uncle who is going to Afghanistan, my cousin who got shot in the leg, my cousin who got shot in the leg's girlfriend, my cousin- brother of the one who got shot in the leg, my cousin (brother of the one who got shot in the leg) girl friend.

We have Thanksgiving because when the Pilgrims came to America, the Native Americans (aka Indians) had a feast with the Pilgrims. They shared their resources and everything. And the feast that the Pilgrims and Indians had was called "The First Thanksgiving".

Now, we celebrate it (because that was when America was started. Loads of countries have Thanksgiving, the day they were founded, or around that time) by having a feast, just like the Pilgrims and Indians. We have turkey, mashed potatos, sweet potatos, gravy, stuffing, bread, cranberries, deviled eggs, and just so much more.

And you eat it with your family.
In the morning, they have the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, in New York, that I always watch on TV They have Santa at the end of the parade! And then this year Thanksgiving is at our house. And my Nonna and PopPop are coming, and so are my other aunt and uncle, and my girl cousin who is like 8 and her brother who is 12.

SO YEAH! Does that make sense?

Actually, the Lost Colony came to Roanoke Island, NC That was the first time the British tried to start a colony here, but it failed when all the colonists were killed, except for the "leader" who had to go back to Europe because of some war.

Then the whole Jamestown thing.

It's really not that complicated... we're celebrating the "birth" of America, and eating a huge feast, just like how the Indians and Pilgrims did so long ago.

And blehh, once those colonists came to America, they were no longer British in my book They were American! <3

And then from there, the 13 Colonies began (NC being one of them) and then the Revolutionary War, and then we were officially free from y'all xD
