random thread & scavenger hunt

I made this way too hard-I'm just now turning it in to a random thread but you can still do the hunt


Hey all....

I have an awesome internet scavnger hunt for you hunt

But I'm not done with it yet.

On Monday, June 23 at 12:00 central time, I will try to get it on. If I don't get it up by then, check the next day. I will post it at exactly noon central time. That is 3 hours ahead of the Pacific time zone (L.A.), 1 hour behind the Eastern time zone (NYC), and 5 hours ahead of London time. So it starts at 9:00 in California, 1:00 in New York, and 5:00 in London.

You will need a key to decode the clues. When I post the hunt, I will wait 2 days and then post the key to the clues. But if anyone can crack my code, all the power to ya. When I find the winner (and yes, there will be a way to find the winner) they will get a huge virtual trophy.

Think you've got a bit muddled here. I'm pretty sure that PST is 2 hours behind CST, and I know GMT is 6 hours head of CST.

Looking forward to it. I love scavenger hunts.

what am I thinking? you're right marypops! I was looking at the world clock on my phone.

so folks, it will start at 6:00 GMT and 10:00 PST. It is still at noon here in the CST and at 1:00 EST at the Mouse's home in Florida. (That's how I know what time it is in NYC- they are the exact same time as WDW- which is 1 hr ahead of us) If you want any other conversions of time, either do it yourself, ask your parents, or find marypops!.

anyone else here? otherwise, marypops! is going to get the HUGE virtual trophy!

you know what....I bet that marypops! will break my code before I give the key and will be the first to finish the scavenger hunt. Not that I'm playing favorites or anything......b/c I'm not, you know?

sorry marypops! I can't tell you until tomorrow. I chose that time so most of the people on the Disboards will be awake during that time. Until then, I'm going to finish up the hunt.

okay....i'm done with the scavneger hunt. IT is super long and complex. Will probably take a couple of hours. But mark your place and do it over a couple of days. Go outside!

Okay. For this hunt, you will need pencil and paper. I am going to give you a lot of clues, and they will take you to a certain letter. Now how you get there is the key.

Also, it would probably be a smart idea to print out the page with the clues, so you don't have to go back and forth in your internet browser. Just copy them on to notepad or Word.

Well, I will post the clues tomorrow, noon CST.

Oh, and where there are spaces between the clues, that stands for spaces between the words.

Everything will take place here on the Disboards.
