Whats with the cat anyway?

It's the whole point of the show. Kika's cat is stuck on the church spire and when trying to get him down with the firefighter Bob, they're both sucked into a typhoon and end up on the other side of the planet and they have to get back to Waterloo to save him. At the end of every episode, they show what's going on with the cat, but he has an annoying voice so I just skip over them.
