My school never did an eighth grade trip. But my high school does a senior when everyone graduates.

Yeah, it did.
But I'm over it now, because our teachers felt bad and for three days straight, the 8th graders all got to walk around the cafeteria/gym all day long and just talk, the whole day long! It was pretty awesome

Yeah, I don't think I'll be able to go to my class trip anyway. That would be awesome though!

I wouldn't be able to because it's too far away for my mother's liking and plus, my cousin went to DC on his 8th grade trip and he told me it was so boring, especially the soldier thingy, where they watch the troops guard the tomb or whatever it is.

Well it depends on where you go. Believe me, I've been there so many times (anytime someone comes to visit they simply must go to DC. I know that city like the back of my hand). And yeah, the soldier thingy is particularly boring.
