Okay, last thought on the subject...I did it, no drinks involved, got his voice mail, left what I hope was a very nice message (congratulated him on his family's company's new showroom and that I thought it was a very nice picture of him and his brother in the newspaper, blah blah woof woof whatever)...

Now I'm waiting. Not sitting-by-the-phone waiting, but just waiting...

And now for my random thought of the moment...since I'm thinking about Ken...did anyone else ever dress up their Ken doll in Barbie's pink spandex pants and jam her platform heels on his feet to try to pass him off as a glam rocker?

Oh, random thought - I made clothing for my Barbies. But I wasn't very good at the sewing machine - so they all wore tube tops, or very very short skirts.

Good One! I'm home, DD was not feeling well and I got the call from the school nurse just before school got out. Right now she could fulfill the above job all by herself.

Oh rats, I wasn't paying attention again

My DD placed a piece paper on top of the rat cage and now they are pulling it in, shredding and eating it! Yesterday they chewed a hole in the top of their water bottle, thank goodness for duct tape!

DS's therapist said he has too many toys. How can you have too many toys? I mean...he's got a ton of stuffed animals, musical instruments and THREE buckets of blocks (One Duplo, one faux Duplo and a set of wooden ones) in the living room, stuffed animals in the office and stuffed animals in his bedroom.

My DS is awesome, he takes a class at the University on Monday nights and he and a couple of his buddies go to dinner afterwards.

Tonight they tried out Vietnamese. He brought me a beef noodle bowl and spring rolls. One of my fav's - yummy, isn't he sweet? I thought so too until he informed me he used my credit card, not his Debit card to buy his and my dinner and to leave a tip since his buddies were low on cash

Ok, here is another random thought I had earlier this evening. I was driving to CostCo to pick up a couple of things (sidenote: how come no matter how few things I am getting at CostCo my bill is still over $200? I mean how much can toilet paper and kitchen roll paper cost? Jeesh!) and a Bon Jovi song is playing. So, I start thinking (and not what you ladies are thinking), is it me or has Jon Bon Jovi's voice gotten more and more country western as the years have gone by?
