Random thoughts on upcoming DLR trip.

Borrowing this idea from Judy, I thought I'd share some random thoughts on an upcoming trip to DLR.

Sure glad those winds have died down. Let's get those fires put out!

Oh garsh, Ryan (DS 8) and I both have horrible colds and we leave in 4 days.

Can't hardly wait for our first MHT!

The weather sure looks nice next week.

I'm so ready to make the mad dash to Nemo!

Why is it that no matter how hard I plan, my period always shows up sometime during vacation!!!

No need for glowsticks. My northwest legs will do the trick!

I just love Pirates of the Caribbean!

I'm VERY happy IJA is open again!

I absolutely refuse to eat any hamburgers at DL! YUCK!

I WILL find Albort!!!

I've got my lime green Mickey heads ready to go. I wrote my DisBoard name on them, and I'll hang them from our backpack and stroller, and I might wear one too, but I don't know where to put it.....maybe hanging around my neck.

I HATE that drop on Splash, but I HAVE to ride it. CRAZY

I'm determined to find lulubelle's daughter (Bree) at Nemo and introduce myself.

My feet already hurt just thinking about all the hard surface walking. Thank the Lord for hotels with hot tubs!

Uh, TOT and my 2 kids (DS 8 and DS 4).....I just don't know? They'll probably love it. I have to say, I really don't love it myself. DH, he LOVES it.

I think I'm just going to have to ride Screamin' this year, even if I have to do it by myself. I've never ridden it, and I just can't pass it up again! It looks like too much fun!!!

Is there a way to lose a stubborn 20 pounds in 4 days?

I'll second these thoughts! The news reports sound more promising tonight! I feel quilty worrying about our trip when so many are having such hardships.

Just wait until you get older, then you can control them with hormones and never have that problem again.

Disney SM - Has DS8 done Jedi training yet?

It was a highlight for my DS 8.

Have a great time at Walt's Park....hope the air cleans out for you.

ACDNSY - Oh dear, I hope you're ouchies are better by trip time. Pain doesn't make for a nice trip. Especially with all the walking you do at the parks. Don't take any chances and don't rule out an ECV. YOU TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!

I'll definately be snooping around the GC construction zone and taking pictures.

Bumbershoot - $50 giftcard sounds pretty great. We'll see if we can squeeze it in. We have a day planned for Knotts and one for the beach too, so I'm not sure if we can sqeeze it in, but it would be nice if we could.

Hound - I really want my boys to experience this!!! The funny thing is that I think our younger DS 4 would enjoy it more than our DS 8. Our 4 year old has those light saber moves DOWN! He looks like a real pro!

I'm glad my DD will be going with my sister and I so then if I don't feel up to all the walking I can take a break here and there. I purchased a light hiking shoe earlier this week and I think it's helpling.

Rats...this bumped down to the second page & i missed it.

Disney SM, are you aware of some of the tips to get picked for Jedi? I've got an old thread, but can't locate it. If you've seen it great, if not...then:

- Make signs for the kids.
- Have them dressed up as Jedi's or get them a Star Wars tee ****. Or a BRIGHT UNIQUE shirt.
- Have them jump up & down.

OK here are mine. Why do you all get sick and have to go to the DR. and get RX just in case you come down with oh I don't know Pneumonia?

Why do we need our periods anymore. I'm done having kids, How long GOD how long?

Why do you make multiple packing lists only to forget something like a toothbrush?

Why cant I sleep for two weeks before we leave its like Christmas Eve every night over and over. Cant count sheep to noisy.

Why don't we own a big fat banner that says where going to DL.

Why do my DOGS know I'm leaving and cant stop the super compulsive disorder of being stuck by my side 24/7. (I think I might have to bring a pic to have on my bedside of them. I am silly!

I'm hoping to find a clean house when I return. To Too much to ask of my 18 yr old. Love him but he has his dads disorder! Whats a vacuum?
