Michelle, Dagney, and Alex--
Your stories about the Adult entertainment staff is right on the money! Your experience with them is what you make of it. We don't mind hanging out with them or making "fools" of ourselves either. Robin remembered me from our last cruise on the Wonder where I was pregnant, and he joked with me about knowing Trevor before he was "Trevor"! The whole entertainment staff made our trip--including giving attention during other activities to our kids. I remember looking off our verandah at Castaway Cay and Robin was filming a training video for the staff--he hollered out "well if it isn't Sue Ellen and Steve!" all the way up to us (on the 8th deck!) Your cruise is what you make it (with some help from the crew)
Anyway, Alex, your story about your daughter reminded me of Tara. She wanted to do an activity after the last one she told us she was doing--she knew we were in one of the clubs, but couldn't locate us--so she called the room, left us a voice message, and also a note about where she was and when she would be back (this was last year when she was 10 and before they made you take a pager). She was so "grown up" and responsible. It is incredible helping to teach them responsibility there, and since the ship is basically secure, it allowed her more freedom than anywhere else. She handled it well, as it sounds like your daughter did. OH, and I am just HORRIFIED to hear about the sheets! YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad to hear you made it home okay.
Michelle, I know it's cold in Orlando. I only had a couple of days and it was SO cold! I was wearing sweatshirts and jackets, along with my silly Mickey Santa hat to stay warm.
Have a great time and a safe trip home. Thanks for the report.
