I am booking 7 nights for later this year. i waited and now have the 7 mt window to deal with.
All 3 of my kids have a differing opion.. this has to be buttoned down this week.
Choices are 7 nights AKV jambo value, 2 bedroom. kids like pool, aracde food ok.. teen not happy thinks its to far out.
AKV kidani 2 bedroom dedicated. Kids loved kidanis rooms, did not care for
food or pool.

I like jambo not so much kidani.

first choice 2 bedroom BW has been not available. teen wants this.

Last choice BLT 1 bedroom. 5 people two teens in living room, 2 small boys in master w/ mom. like food choices, arcade, shops, but smaller accomadations. where would you pick and why?

While I love the location, 5 people in a 1BR at BLT is kinda rough. We did 5 there - me, DW, DD3, DS18, DD20 last year but it was kinda crowded.

Yikes! I didn't realize how big the points difference was between a 2BR AKL and 2BR BLT.

I guess if it was me, I would go where the pool was nicer (in your opinion) - which kinda sounds like Jambo House. The fact that the kids liked the arcade, pool, and food....

You can always book one of them and then waitlist BW.

:) At seven months I would take which ever 2 br I could get. BLT just seems too small. I think Jambo would be the best fit.

I agree with getting whatever 2 BR is available. There may not be any AKV Values left, though. Since the points are so low, they're usually gone within the 11 month mark. Would your teen like being close to DTD in place of the BW? You could try SSR or OKW which is just a boatride away. Lots of activity going on there. Good Luck deciding!

I wouldn't want to be crowded. We spent a trip once when everyone was sick...blegh. Need breathing room!

We did Kidani and loved it. CS food is not close. Pool was fun.

The thing is, how often will you swim? We swam once, so that doesn't rank very high in the decision. We eat every day, so that ranks higher. But we spend the majority of the time in the room, so that ranks highest to us. And we can do pretty well with food in the room. I don't even mind buying the food at the resort store, it's still better than eating out. Lots of easy kid friendly options - we do a lot with eggs, bagels, bacon, juice, cereal, popcorn, individual pizzas, etc. Not as luxurious as eating out, but we do not mind.

We have 3 teens, so I get that part. But teen needs to understand BCV just isn't an option. Have to move on to another adventure. And have fun making new family memories!

I agree Love love Kidanis rooms. but, teens are not happy there!
I just booked Bay lake in a 1 bedroom, and waitlisted for the 2 bedroom. Also waitlisted BW 2 bedroom.
It's funny having done 5 in a 1 bedroom there last year. The kids had no issue with that!! I guess the teens getting the 2nd bath as thier own makes it doable.
This same group has also done 5 in a 1 bedroom club kids had no issue with that!!! not available though!!

Don't ask the kids!!!
I firmed it up today and we are resort hopping!
3 nights Bay lake 1 bedroom Lakeview. followed by 4 nights BWV 2 bedroom. So we have both!

Child number three gets AKV for our next December trip!

My Mom lives local so we will not have a car. We swim every day usually veryyyy, late at night. And I would say the majority of our time is spent at Epcot and Magic kingdom.

I'd go with Kidani and sell it as the teen gets their own bathroom!:lmao:

Am biased but I will say Kidani. The dedicated 2 br is spacious. The resort is beautiful, the buses work great and you will have three bathrooms.

You might want to look at OKW; the rooms are larger and the teen can walk to DD disney.

Blackrock

Everyone will love your two choices. Next time, just book and surprise everyone. Asking always makes it harder for everyone to decide :)

I would also ask you to consider SSR...walk to DTD...arcades, movies, people watching....give it a try.
