Hi friends!

My family camped at the fort in January 2015 in our travel trailer. We loved it! We have visited the fort since then, so we are familiar with it, but I have a few questions!

We are going back in May 2018 in our RV & towing our golf cart. Will we store our trailer on our site? Also, is there anything we need to bring (or know) about the golf cart? We did not use one during our last stay there.

We are currently booked for 11 nights. I'm good with planning theme park days & at least one pool day, but our trips are usually so packed we are exhausted! I'm excited to have some downtime! Anything you recommend?!

Thank you!!

I recommend more downtime. Seriously. More than just one pool day out of eleven.

Take in a campfire singalong with Chip & Dale on a movie night you might stay and watch. We post the schedule monthly here.

Campers are generally sociable so strike up a conversation with your neighbor if you see them outside.

We will definitely be doing the sing a long! Have done it before & love it!
We will have multiple days at the fort...I want to actually enjoy the campground this time. Last time we were at the parks so much, we didn't really get to enjoy it!

WDWNerd,

I am glad to hear you are going to enjoy the campground more. We did a trip in May once and it was nice. Warm during the day but generally you don't have the daily summer rain yet.

Enjoy your planning for the trip - that's half the fun.
