random questions about universal rides

Since I'll be going there for my first time I want to be prepared for all the rides there.

First off on the Jurassic park ride, do you get soaked or just a little wet?

Second the spider man ride is that a ride where you move or just watch a
movie?

do the shows like sinbad and beatlejuice cost extra or are the free?

It's been a few years, but I don't recall getting soaked on JP; maybe a little wet.

Spiderman moves, but is also enhanced by the videos/3D

Depends what side/part of the boat you are on and the time of year. In the winter they turn the water lvl down so you don't get wet. I sit at the back left side and barely get a sprinkle in the summer.

Ride but does have 3d movie.

If you get soaked on the JP ride it's more bad luck than ride design. It's possible if you ride in the front and I've been wet a few times but never soaked. The Popeye/Bluto barges are where you can get soaked.

If you duck to the side on the drop, you won't get very wet no matter what, even in the front row. That's how I ride when it's chilly.

I've both gotten soaked and just a little wet on Jurassic Park - seems to depend on where I'm sitting in the car or the overall weight of it!

Jurassic park you sometimes get wet and sometimes u dont.....mainly it hits my face lol........I have been to Hollywood and Orlando versions and I have never gotten soaked......

also, Spiderman is an actual ride and you put on 3d glasses with it........

All the shows are free

DON'T miss Poseidon's Fury... a show of some sort.......its so awesome!

JP is hit and miss I think, I've been on it and just had a light sprinkle of water, gone straight back on it, ended up sitting in exactly the same spot and gotten absolutely soaked. I think it must depend on the weight in the boat.

Hiya -

JP : we were advised to wait for the next boat last time -with our 2 little girls - the front 2 rows were "heavy" - when we got off, we saw some wet people!!!!!, so take a look or ask the team loading the boat if you are worried about getting wet.

shows are free - didn't think much to the poseidon one - but mainly due to having to wait forever to get in, then just about all the kids under about 8 got scared due to dark, noisy, fire etc.....

Spiderman is great - again, kids can be scared by it, but we thought it was good - lots of 3d stuff on a moving track, was the first of its type I think.
