I have been looking at lots of trip reports and photos and noticed that the stateroom door numbers are in a circle. This has given me an idea for my stateroom door decorations. I want to use the round room number as part of my door decoration. The idea is that I will make a paper / card magnet image that will have a round hole in the middle. To make sure it fits, I need to know the diameter of the round room number

13.5" down from the top is a circular door marker that has a 7.5" diameter.

Great size for Mike of Monsters Inc. I made a large image of him and can always find my door. Some door numbers give you a smidgen of room under the overall medallion edge for tucking caps, beards, etc. under in case you are a bit off on your 7 1/2" measurement.

Which ship? The Magic class have their peep holes on the side, but the Dream class have it underneath. If your magnet goes around, don't forget to accommodate that.
