Random question about Mickey Antennae toppers

ok - bought my first Mickey Antennae topper at WDW last week.

I don't have a very 'strong' antennae...it's not a rectractable one, so it's rather flimsy.

As I'm driving down the highway my antennae is bent back at weird angle...this topper won't cause my antennae to snap, will it?

hehehe...so weird and random - but I had to ask!

Turn it so it faces the side instead of forward. There's less wind resistance (it won't catch the ears as much), so your antenna won't bend quite as badly.

I did the same thing (turned it sideways) but I still have some antenna bendage. But I just can't take off my red-glitter mickey head!!

Mine has been bending too but I've had it for a year and nothing has happened yet. I'll try turning it to the side though. That's a great tip!

Mine also bends, but that doesn't bother me as much as people stealing the toppers! I'm on my 4th one now. I know it may get stolen again, but they look so darn cute!! And with my "Been there, Going back" lincense plate covers and a Stitch sticker on the window, my car looks like a rolling advertisement for Disney!

We have all toppers available. Disney sells a pack that contains one for each holiday. As far as breaking the antenna, I don't think it will. As far a stealing, I know what 'cha mean! I've had at least half a dozen stolen. I'm with ya on the rolling ad too. Sticker on back glass is "I'm Goofy, what's your excuse" picture of Goofy of course. Front tag is all the parks and Mickey in his "hat"

As for the atenna, I don't think it would break. We have the Sorcerer Mickey and as fast as my husband drives, we have never had a problem.

I don't use mine on my car because it makes the antenna vibrate so much. It drives my crazy. We have them on TV and boombox antennas in the house.

I have had many on my antenna and I have never had one break. Even in some very strong wind. I worry more about it popping off but have never had that happen either. And I've been lucky - I've only had one stolen and I had more of the same one just for that reason. It was taken at the soccer fields - really ticked me off.

I've had the Mickeymobile up to 105MPH without any damage to my antenna, so I think you should be OK...

I can relate to those who think their cars look like a rolling ad for Disney...

At least you have an antenna to put it on. We bought one and didn't realize until we went to put it on that our 'antenna' is embedded in the windshield glass. D'oh!

It shouldn't. I don't think even with the wind that a topper weighs enough to do any damage.

I have a whole box full of them. I'm obsessed...

Mine bends too but I think it will be okay... we drove home 6hrs w/ it on going about 80 so if it didn't break then it probably won't....


I just recently got into toppers our last trip (Oct) DH thinks I'm crazy but I had to buy every single one I could find. Currently I have the mickey reindeer topper on .. it's so cute!!!
