Can I get chicken nuggets/strips pretty much everywhere? It's the only protein my son will eat, but I'm hoping since it's a staple for most kids, they'd be available anywhere we eat (even if not on a menu for the nicer places)?!

Pretty much all counter service has chicken nuggets, they are surprisingly really good too :) I'm not super positive about the sit down restaurants but I think most do have them.

They do have chicken nuggets! And there's always McDs across the street! :-)

This made me LOL. our last trip, DS was 2 and only ate chicken nuggets as well. I actually bought frozen ones from walmart, heated them in the morning and brought them in a thermos container.

Thank you for this post, a positive nugget indeed ......I was so depressed about the TSD post, I thought, wow, am I really missing out on Disneyland because i eat Chicken nuggets and dont want to participate in TSD options.

Interesting that you should ask chicken nuggets random question, because the chickens that go into the Nuggets are random also. Lol well honestly its not humorous for the chicken. Now we should all bow our heads in silence, while lamenting the poor, dearly departed poultry, that if not for their sacrifice, we would not be able to enjoy their wonderful nuggets, tenders, and plaza inn chicken.

A few restaurants don't have nuggets, for example Cafe Orleans and Carnation Cafe.

No, if chicken nuggets are not on the menu, the restaurant will not be able to serve them. Make sure you review the menus before you head out. This is the site that I used to preview menus. For instance, Blue Bayou has chicken breast (super yummy) but no breaded chicken/nuggets.

You will definitely be able to find them at both parks, but will need to do some research.

Village Haus, Jolly Holiday, Pizza Port and French Market do not have chicken nuggets.

Mickey D's does! Lol ;) No, really. And is just across the street too.

How old is your child? Are you offering other types of protein on a daily basis?

When we were at DLR earlier this month, our son who is pretty picky about eating meat actually ended up eating a lot of various types of food that for whatever reason at home, he turns his nose up at. Maybe he'll surprise you if you give him other options.

I saw a lot of nuggets on menus. This is a must for us as well as we have kids that are ASD and very challenging to feed especially on trips

How would one like to attempt to describe to someone that has never had a nugget? Is it like a gold nugget? A small rock? A wad of chewing gum? Oh this is not for me. I have had them. LOL...... a bit of dirt? Snowball? How much of the nugget is actual chicken? :faint:

Last time I was in DL I was waiting in line for a picture with a character when this large extended family shoves their way in front of me with their stroller and butts right in. Then one woman says to the kid in the stroller, "Do you want chicken nuggets?" I'm thinking, "Great! They can all go have lunch and get out of this line!" But no, someone else walks up with a plastic container full of cold, soggy McD's nuggets. She pops one in her mouth and sort of holds one out for the kid, who is like straining to eat from the woman's hand. Finally grandma comes and takes the kid out of the stroller but she still standing there eating out of mom's hand like a trained animal getting a treat. But seriously, those nuggets were so shriveled and looked almost white because they were so old. I was totally grossed out. I'm so glad I don't eat those nuggets myself or my stomach would have really turned.
