This might sound odd, but is it possible to suggest or request for new games in the Starcade? I know there seems to be a deal with Namco (or I'm guessing by the sheer amount of Namco brand games and official token dispensers), but even so, a return of some of the older games would be great. I want my Point Blank back! :worried:

That's.... true. But arcades are an entirely different thing. There are still some games that cannot exactly be replicated outside of an arcade (like certain light-gun games, like PB).

Plus, if I want to play a game like Crazy Taxi or DDR, I'd much rather use the machine over the home console alternatives (steering wheel and flimsy pedal, rather glitchy and weak mats, etc.)

Thanks for the, uh, input though. <__<

The Shooting Expositon is pretty low-tech and it's one of my favorite things at Disneyland and I always end up spending some money in the Starcade too.

Did you ever play a game called "Steel Batallion"? I think it was for xbox. It had pedals and then a whole seperate console that set on a table.

I've heard of it, but never played it. Isn't it also hard to get, going for rather high prices on eBay? That's unfortunate if it really does play well.

It's kind of disappointing that more home console peripherals don't stand up to the test of time (or even less). When I got Taiko Drum Master for the PS2, the controller had some serious issues with registering hits... especially on the rim. Detracts from the game, really, when you need to keep up combos to unlock more and get better scores. :( Granted, smacking a taiko drum to Spears, the Jackson 5, and Chumbawumba was bizarre enough.

But anyway, I was just hoping we might get some more variety, perhaps even Drummania or other Bemani. Even another air hockey table would be nice. The spin-the-wheel-to-move-the-bear game is still entertaining, if not pointless, though.
