Just back from a hot day at baseball, we won both games, so onto tomorrow in the winner's bracket!

It got really hot today, and sitting at the ballfield was scortching. I had to buy a popsicle (green apple) and drank the juice at the end which landed me in a coughing fit, with tears streaming down my face.......I can't take those popsicles!

The kind in plastic, though.

It was a good day. Filled with baseball, but we won both games! We (used lightly here, DS is what I mean) plays again tomorrow. My youngest DD had been to visit her uncle for a couple days, so we picked her up tonight. It was the longest she had ever been away, three days in a row.

It sounds like it was a good day, except for the popsicle episode.
DD being away for 3 days must have felt weird. I've never sent my kids to sleepaway camp and they've also just been away for a night at a time.
