that's okay, it was pretty exciting, though!

I'm all caught up I noticed we had lots of newbies posting last night so I would just like to say hi

Have they all been grandfathered in?

Well.......I'm not sure........some maybe don't meet the age requirement that we don't even have yet.......(me thinks a teen or two is amongst us)

We have been to US/IOA before, so I wasn't starting from scratch. The rides are awesome, and your kids ages are geared to that. DH and I like the shows at Disney, but our kids kept whining, "how long is it, when do we ride"? pesky kids!

Onsite is deluxe and expensive. You do get FOTL ifyou stay onsite, but (gasp) you pay for parking even at your hotel!

The popcorn was amazingly yummy. I can honestly say that I prefer the Salt & Vinegar flavor in popcorn, than I do in chips. Although, apparently the popcorn was really smelly (oops).

The movie on the other hand was WAY WAY better than the popcorn!! Although, alot of people on the teen board don't think that the movie was any good, but that's their opinion. I'm going to watch it again tonight!!!

Exhausted but pumped up for my dance recital We spend almost 6 months on our dances and when the day finally comes to do them for everybody I completely blank out on what I am supposed to do but I'm sure I'll be fine I just like to worry

I am a planner too (and I love to and get great travel bargains)
You really don't have to do as much compulsive planning for US/IOA, not that you won't want to! I bought four books (see, OCD) on Universal, Universal Orlando by Kelly Monahan (who frequents these boards!) The Other Orlando, plus two others that are upstairs and I don't have the titles right offhand.
There is a DIS section for Universal, not as extensive as the disney side, but worth enjoying as you read through. I like to read the trip reports. Most of the posters do both Disney and Universal (not always in the same trip)

I haven't even seen the salt and vinegar kind.

I used to LOVE the ActII White Cheddar Cheese (microwave, you popped the corn and added ina flavor packed of white cheddar, YUMMMMM They don't make it around here anymore. They make kettle corn, which is good, but you don't get to add anything

At the local festivals there is always a huge kettle and folks making fresh kettlecorn........I cannot pass by without buying in bulk.
