After 14+ hours of sleep.... I still have a bit of a headache and an OUTRAGEOUS toothache My mom's office is closed on Thursdays... BLAH!
My mom, who is a dental hygienist came over to look at it and sees "nothing" therefor I'm scared it's a root issue requiring root canal

I'm sorry to hear about the headache and toothache!
The toothache could definitely be contributing to the headache. Unfortunately, I sometimes end up with a 2-3 day migraine.

Don't assume immediately, that you have a root canal issue. I have 2 teeth that act up every few months. The dentist has taken x rays but nothing shows up. The gums and those teeth are very sensitive. You might just have a bad sensitivity.

When you're able to, lie down, and put a cold compress on your forehead and put a warm one on the area of the toothache. Maybe if you cover both of them at once, you'll feel some relief.
