DD12 just made the mistake of asking DH for help
with her math

she does this to me all the time
asks for help
then insists I am doing it wrong
and throws a fit

worse tonight
since she was already cranky

DH is insisting SHE pay attention
and learn how to do it
instead of throwing her fit

now DD12 is crying

Hara, I may need you to take her
Judi seems to be MIA

Send her over. I've been through that age with a girl, already.
I think she'd have a lot of fun with my DD. She's great with all ages!

DH just told DD10
"you must use your imagination
and figure things out"
stop asking so many questions

Maybe I need you to take DH, Hara!:lmao:

My home is open to your entire family!!:)
Or maybe, you should leave everyone at home and you come here for a visit!!

I surely wouldn't want that to happen! I'd feel so guilty!

well, they wouldn't actually draw blood
but they do realize DH has little patience
while I have tons

on the super rare occasions I go anywhere without them
and I say, "Daddy is watching you"
both DD's say "Noooooo, can't you get us a babysitter?"
:rotfl2: :cool1:

my friend says her kids do the same thing!

I forget why she was all dressed up
probably just because she has excellent taste in clothing, Snow;)

She's such a cutie!!:cutie:

My sister has 4 boys, so believe me, I totally understand what it all means!!

ready to go to the MORP
mardi gras theme
purple and green was DS and friend's theme

What a great picture.
If I didn't know where you lived, I'd think the photo was taken in FL or somewhere similar.

okay, now some cookie photos of me
in my too dressed up shirt (according to DS)

I guess I don't make cookies often enough
because DD12 said
"are these cookies for DS's friend.girl"
and I said, NO
and she said, "Why are you baking them then?"

leaning down (awkward arm position)
because DD10 was stressing she could not see the cookies and my head in one frame!

You look lovely!!
Nice to see some photos of you, too!

Judi?
Ready to do an intervention with DD12?

She was at a sleepover last night
part of the reason she is so unreasonable today

first, no chinese for lunch
switch to McD's
and she doesn't like McD's
doesn't want ANYTHING
(works for me, actually, cheaper dining!)

then I make cookies
and she complains
WHy do you make chocolate chip?
I say, Ummmm becasue we love chocolate chip???

and she says
I dont. I hate chocolate chip. I hate cookies.

Good, more for the rest of us, they are going fast even without her eating any.

I think it is just about her bedtime!

My sister has a 13 year old boy, and he sounds like he's going through the same phase.

did you notice how perfectly round they are

my grandpa's brother's wife (his second wife)
sent me the pampered chef
cookie scoop
after she enjoyed an afternoon with my daughters

enjoyed, really,
my girls are chatty
and she had a delightful afternoon with them
this was years ago
it came in the mail
a surprise for all of us

I dont' use it nearly enough!

We always use a cookie scoop. I learned that tip from Martha.
