It's in Creative DISigns...I found a thread where a woman designs all sorts of binder covers and I am putting a request in for one

what thread is it? I would like to look at the designs.

It looks like DD10's class will be learning a lot about NY this week.
I sent in my "report" last week.

She is hoping it is the first to arrive, another special event, I guess, the first flat to have done something....

A progressive dinner, works for me. Snow, meatloaf..Sarah, baked ziti, Was40...ah, er, subway, McD, take away pizza

Well, we have some leftover chinese from lunch...
DH just asked "what are you thinking about supper"
to which I replied "nothing"

he said "okay"

Let me just say
I have stimulated the economy today at KMart!

They have winter clearance clothing starting at 1.99
and the DD's got so much stuff for 3.99
flannel jammies (for next year)
new robes (for next year)
christmas velour dresses, one red, one black, white furry cuffs, cute....

We filled a whole cart!
DH found some new dressy shirts, button front
so now I am not even going to attempt to get out the oil spots from the chapstick his shirts were 4.99

I got turtleneck shirts, black and white for 3.99
I wear them daily all winter long, I hate to be cold

oh, happy day (sing it with me whoopi!)

We went to KMart becasue it is right by Dunhams (sporting goods store)
and DH bought the girls new spikes for softball

I don't think he got amazing deals like I was scooping up at KMart


though, the economy may have just recovered from its slump

It hasn't rained as much as they said it would...there was just a light drizzle when I went to the post office.

new Saturday hours 3-11
which is why when we went at noon yesterday they were closed

today we went just after noon, after church
and it was the same man cooking
same fifth grade boy taking orders
but a woman was there with a baby and a five or six year old girl

family run, this restaurant
the kids speak english
the adults, not so much


how do you think you move to a foreign country
don't speak the language
and open up a restaurant?????

No...it wasn't open...I just dropped the letter off in the mailbox they have outside

We also went to the Dollar Store
and DD12 bought a bunch of candy for her birthday party
some sort of blowpops candy gum, in a package like skittles
nerds rope candy
candy ice cream cones
and the piece de resistance~ plastic noses which ooze candy out of them
