what i found strange in the most recent Lassie movie (which came out a year or 2 ago) was the appearance of the Loch Ness Monster...

One night I was really bored and so I seared "random facts" in google and learned a lot.

One thing I knew already was that Rhode Island is the smallest state with the longest name-- The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.
 
the official colours of WDW are Lavender, Lagoon Blue, Pumpkin Orange and Mint Green :)

i can give some of my most favorite disney facts. the ones that deal with illuminations. :]

illuminations: reflections of earth is the most popular fireworks show in the world. it is also the most expensive firework show on disney property.

it costs $17,000 a night to put on the show.

disney imagineers had to travel all the way to china to seek out a fireworks specialist that helped them manufacture specialized fireworks that leave no smoke trail when launched into the air. there are no other fireworks in the world like the ones you will see during the show.

each shell has a micro chip inside that tells it exactly when to explode in sync with the music.

the music is performed by the royal symphony orchestra.

the LED globe is the first and only one like it. its is 350,000 pounds and is covered in 15,600 lights. it is also considered the most complicated piece of machinery ever designed by disney.

the torches around the lagoon represent the 20 recorded centuries. the one that lights up in the middle near the end is the 21st century torch, which, is ours.

400 gallons of propane are used every night to light up the inferno barge.

there is the "inferno barge blow off" every night where they let the rest of the propane out. if you stay late enough, you can hear it exploding throughout the park.

there are 4 fountain barges that pump 4,000 gallons of water into the air per minute.

the control booth for the show is above the mexico pavillion.

jim cummings is the narator at the beginning of the show. he is also the voice of tigger.
 
Illuminations also has more than 2400 fireworks go off every night, but when they do the holiday version an extra 2400 go off in the 5 minutes past the regular show.

The song "We go on" is performed by Kelley Coffee.

It lasts 13 minutes on normal nights.

The globe is the first ever spherical display system; it has 15000 LEDs

There are four fountain barges and they pump 4000 gallons of water per minute.

The inferno barge is 150000 pounds and it uses 37 nozzles to shoot the flames upward.

1105 shells are used for each show, and they are launched from China, Italy, US and Japan from 34 firing positions.

The flames go up to 40 feet above the lagoon.

It is the most popular fireworks show in the world.

It has three acts: Chaos, Order and Celebration.

There are 20 torches around the lagoon representing the 20 centuries in the known era.

Before the show, there is a 30 minute music loop played throughout the world showcase. It contains 9 songs.

The "After Illuminations Song" as I know it, is titled Promise.

On September 19, 2005, the inferno barge was pulled from the show because of an accident with one of the fireworks. It was damaged but no one was injured.

The lasers come from the American Adventure, Canada, and Mexico.

Each of the torches rise 27 feet above the lagoon's surface.

The control booth for the show is above the Mexico pavillion.
