Looking at the Port Canaveral webcam. I wonder if there is any coordination between the two ships Sail Away Parties so that Mickey and other characters are not out at the same time on both ships? Today, the Wish's Funnelvision screen has to be in clear view of those at the Sail Away Party on the Fantasy. "Look mom, Mickey is on that ship as the same time as ours, hos is that possible?"
Asking for a friend, LOL.

That is a good question! It used to be rare that 2 Disney ships would be leaving at the same time, but as the fleet increases, this will happen more often. Disney certainly has the capability to manage this issue by shifting the timing of the shows, so it wouldn't surprise me if they are planning (or have planned) adjustments.

Honestly I don't think kids that are of this age would pick up on what's happening. In my head they would think the image they may see on the other ship would be of Mickey on their ship.

Very few can see both at the same time and they're normally enthralled by what's happening on their ship and in front of them.

The characters themselves are not visible from outside the ship, only the Funnelvision and only if they're looking and - both shows are pretty much identical so nothing to draw attention

With Port Canaveral, ships leaving are usually staggered by 30 minutes. So the shows may naturally be at different times.

I'm not sure if Disney would intentionally delay the second show for the first to end.
