My planning head has gone into overdrive......do you need to take your AP out of the plastic holder before scanning at the entrance and FP kiosks?

Thanks

No experience of using the FP kiosks but you can definitely scan the AP cards in their plastic holder at the entrance- we always do. :goodvibes

hope you dont mind jumping on your thread but was wondering if someone got Classic or Fantasy AP and going to use it on the blockout day, I understand they will show Hotel card so will be let in but what about FP, will you be able to get one from machine?
ta

I hadn't thought about that - we have Classic passes - won't be there on a blackout day this time so won't affect us this visit. Hopefully someone will know.

No problem getting Fast Pass, however although we were always allowed in on black out days, it sometimes took a while as CM's didn't understand and had to get supervisors! Bit of a pain when trying to rush for Crush!!

We always did! Especially for FP!

good to know micksn as just booed for Christmas:yay::yay::yay::santa::santa::yay::yay::yay: and so far its only me who got Dream AP and need to decide what to do with boys as booked room only with a discount... I said to hubby he can always stay in the room or just go for a walk in the Village:rolleyes1

really tired and exiting tomorrow but nearly weekend so just expect lots of threats/questions from me...

was wondering is this anywhere on the website that you can get to park with hotel pass on blockout dates as would just printed to avoid delays as its going to be very busy and if we go with classic one it will be block for all days I think...

Some (most?) turnstiles no longer allow for insertion of tickets. At those entrances, everything must be scanned.

I did remove the AP from its plastic holder while my wife is a huge fan of keeping it inside, and success rate was pretty consistent between her and I, thus I no longer remove the passport when entering a park.
