Have you ever witnessed or been the receipent of a Random Act of Kindness at The World.?

Could have been preformed by a CM or just another guest.

Loved to hear about it!

Just this past Saturday 3/15 I was in Epcot trying to buy latest release in passholder pin collection. The pin was on sale at one location in each park and at Downtown. At Epcor pin was to be sold at the Emporium in Th e Land. I went to store and 2 CM's could not find pin, knew about them but were not sure if they were sold out. Anothe CM working the Tours desk called me over and told me he thought they were sold out and then he gave me the 2002 passholder pin and called to MK to see if any of the new ones were available. I did not have the 2002 pin and was able to get the Tower of Terror pin at Exposition Hall in MK.
This is the kind of stuff that keeps me coming back, not free items but CM's that really try hard to help you out!!!!:)

1) Some child left belongs at a video game in Spaceship Earth.
2) There was a pooh bear, mouse ears, and purse.
3) No one bothered it.
4) Someone finally broght a CM over.
5) The CM asked twice for an owner.
6) The CM asked a third time, this time YELLING.
7) A frantic mother ran over to claim the daughter's stuff.
8) She was mighty pleased to get it back.

9) There were kids and grownups around quite a bit.
10) The items were cute, but no one grabbed them.

I have and mine is pin related as well. Families who are just learning and inquiring as to how pin collecting/trading "works". On more than one occassion I have seen pins and or lanyards given (by guests) to more than one member of a family so they could enjoy the phenomenon that has swept the parks.

On one of our trips to Epcot we were on the way back to TT for our FP time and our 9 year-old DD saw a family of 3 by the stand by line. The little girl with them (about the same age as our DD) was in tears because the stand by line was at 90 mins and the mother was telling her that they had to leave to catch their return flight home. Right as we got to the FP line our DD asked if we could give our FP to the little girl and her family. We told her if she really wanted to she could. They were on their way to the exit when our DD asked if they would like our FPs to TT because we decided that we really did not want to go on the ride. They were so happy and the look on their faces was priceless. I was so proud of our DD I was almost in tears. I am not a big fan of TT but it is my DDs favorite ride in Epcot. After 19 years of driving around in Orlando, Tampa and Clearwater, TT seems tame. We have given many FPs to people in the parks but this was the one time that was really unexpected to us and the family that got them.

This will have probably happened to a lot of people, but it is really annoying when you have waited a long time to get a good view of a parade when someone pushes in front of you.
Now the kids can't see so well, so it is really nice when adults let kids stand / sit in front of them when watching the parades.

March 4 we were at MK and walking towards Exhibition Hall to see how our picture in front of the castle turned out, when we ran into a CM carrying a zillion colorful Mickey balloons. After apologizing we continued on towards the hall when a gentlemen standing off to the side of the CM remarked to us 'that we might as well pick out a balloon for our DD' (5 yrs.) My DH and I were a little mystified and trying to figure out what this was all about. As my DD picked out her purple Mickey balloon, the CM explained that this guy was buying the first 10 kids balloons!

Once we had received the balloon and the explanation the man was no where to be seen! I really wish we could have thanked him personally, but he sure gave us and our DD a great memory.

Thank you!

Our first day in the park was very crowded. At 8:30 at night I knew my 2 1/2 year old would not last the 45 minutes to ride Winnie the Pooh. As I was explaining this, a wonderful Australian family handed us their fastpasses because their children were sleeping.

I thought it was a lovely gesture to purposefully walk over to the ride and give away their tickets instead of just leaving.

One trip, my husband used his wallet to prop up the video camera on a wall to record Illuminations. Needless to say, he
left his wallet on the wall!!!

He came back to the hotel (I was there with our 7 month old) and meekly told me what he did. As soon as he finished the story, our phone rang. MS called and told him someone turned in his wallet and it was in the lobby.

There are good people in the world! We never got a chance to thank the honest person who did this.

On our trip to AKL with my family, I purchased a pin lanyard to start my nephew off into the pin trading universe. A very nice CM asked me who it was for, and upon hearing it was for a 7 year old boy, she gave me one of her CM pins for his first pin. She instructed me to tell him never to trade that pin. I don't have to tell you what a surprised little boy there was as well as his uncle!

Last September we bought a lemonade (we carry water, but sometimes you want something else) to share. I paid with a $5.00 bill and told them to keep the change for the next people that ordered drinks. I don’t know who it was and don’t care. It just felt good! ! ! !

We (DH, 15 yo DD and myself) travel from Denmark to WDW almost every year. We usually invite one of the kids in the family along, and last year my brothers youngest daughter (9yo) was the lucky one.

We stayed at CSR at a very good AMEX rate , and at check-in both girls received a lanyard with 2 AMEX pins on them.

I had told them about pin trading and they started looking for CM without the AMEX pin on their lanyards - not an easy task !

The next day was our first day in the parks (MGM), and Dear Niece spotted a very cute Minie pin on the lanyard af a female CM, and the CM did not have an AMEX pin

DN is shy, and speaks only a little english, so she tried to signal me, who were waiting in line at the register, to help translate.

But before I have even gotten there the CM had noticed her, and with hand signals had started the trade !

When I got there, I translated DN's thanks, and they started talking with me as a translator. The CM learned that it was DN first visit to WDW and even the first park that she had visited while she was there.

She then asked for my DN 's name and told us to wait a few minutes. When she came back, she brought a photographer and a certificate stating that DN had had a magical moment this day and invited the girls to have their picture taken in front of the big hat.

After the picture had been taken she again told us to wait a few minutes and when she came back she brought the picture in a frame which she presented to my niece. My niece was soooo happy. Her face could have lit up the entire street if it had been dark !!

Today, almost a year later that picture still occupies the center spot on her desk, and she can't stop talking about her "magical day"

Needless to say I wrote a very glowing letter to WDW, thanking the CM for making this an unforgettable moment for my niece

This past trip i just started to collect pins.

I only had one pin on me.

A cast member came along and asked if i just started. I told her that i was and i looked at her pins. I noticed a little green man pin from Buzz Lightyear. I had never seen the pin and i dont think that it is a high demand pin. She took it off and told me to keep it. She didnt want to trade... She told me that everyone has to start someplace. I thought that was a great thing for her to do.

For Us-
I lost a diamond and gold bracelet, somewhere between Splash Mt and the Poly. Less than a week after we returned home, the bracelet was mailed to my home.

DH was taking a picture of me and DSs at the BW when a girl stopped and asked if he wanted to get in the picture too.

FPs for TT were gone for the day and there was an hour wait. We debated what to do since we felt bad leaving my DM with the younger kids, however this was my nieces first ride on it and she really wanted to go...and not alone in the singles line. 3 CMs approached us and told us we could skip the line if we sang the Mickey Mouse song out infront of TT. We did and got an unofficial FP.

By Us-
DH and I were going for our first ride on TT. We got put into the little areas where you wait for a car. We were in the front seat and a woman and her son(maybe 5) would be in the back. The son was upset because he wanted the front. He wasnt being bad about it, we could just tell he was disappointed. We offered to switch with him(this was all before the car showed up), and he and his mother were thrilled. :D

We stopped by the gourmet pantry for a slice of cake since it was my b'day, and one of the CM's must have heard me say something about it because I was told that I had a phone call at the other counter. so I went over to answer the phone and it was goofy wishing me a happy b'day and sang the b'day song to me. it was really cute and made my day. It was in 1998, but worthy of being noted...

My DN's birthday was celebrated in MK and while waiting for us outside BuzzLightYear, he and his mom were looking at toys to buy. The CM realized it was his birthday and let him pick out any toy he wanted, free of charge. Carl went home with a $30.00 gift.

Also in MK, I was a ding-a-ling and had loose cash in pockets and my fanny pac. I dropped a $100 bill while I was walking to a stand for a drink. I looked back and saw the money, knew it was mine, and in slow motion I saw a woman stoop down to pick it up. I just gasped and said, "That is my money!" She did not hesitate and handed me the money. It really was my money, but she really wasn't obligated to hand it over. I was renewed with good deeds. ;)

We will be in the World in 8 days and all these stories make me so hopeful and excited that possibly--if Karma is right--we will experience our own little Disney magic.
However, we aren't just hoping to be the receivers, we will be the givers too!
Thanks for the stories.
Anymore out there...I just love reading them.

We were able to be the "giver" one time and it felt sooo good!! We had bought 3 tickets to the Cirque du Soleil for a trip just after 9/11 and one of the women backed out of the trip. Since we had the extra ticket we looked for a single person who was just hanging around the Cirque theatre and found a grandfather type gentleman and asked if he would like the ticket. He then asked if it would be OK to give it to his granddaughter, a young woman about 19 who loves theatre and was dying to see Cirque. She sat with us through the show and it was one of those magical moments for all of us!!!

OOOOOH, Minster, that "Giver" story is great!
Thank You!!
