Random Acts of Disney Kindness

So in all my research for our trip this summer, I found a cool story about a family who takes small gifts with them(one per child) to pass out to small kids that seem to be having a melt down just to spread a little Disney magic. I decided we were going to do something similar because even though my daughter is a very generous and kind hearted young lady she gets a little selfish on vacation because she gets concerned only about what she wants to do/see and getting souvenirs.

Anyone have any random acts of Disney kindness they would like to share? Either something that you did to share the magic or an act that was done for you.

You might want to visit my now closed thread. Just search "pixie dusting adults" and it should be there. Granted mine was about doing this for adults, but it I just wanted to give you a heads up. There are some great ideas on there, but then are some people that think poorly of it.

I will say I think it is a GREAT idea and adds to the "family" feeling over EVERYONE in the park. Thank you for being a person willing to spread some happiness to others :):):)

We attempt to do this each time we go. I just like the idea of spreading joy. Last trip we gave the 4 year old next to us in Fantasmic our Christmas light necklace. She was really looking at it. Turns out it was her birthday! She was so cute and it made our evening special! Melissa

On our last trip we brought extra glow bracelets/necklaces/stick for the night parades and passed them out to the kids sitting near us, mainly so we didn't have to listen to them complain that they wanted what our kids had but their parents had no way of getting, but nice just the same, lol.

Love this idea.. I bought a bunch of glow sticks that were on clearance for our trip and probably have plenty to hand to other kids!!! Thanks for the ideas

What a lovely idea! Kids (and adults) can always do with a lesson in kindness and selflessness. Glow sticks would be easy I bet. When I worked at Disney I carried stickers to give to kids when they looked tired or near to melt down point. We have shared toys with kids next to us in line (not to keep, but to play with our niece as we waited) since I am sure to carry little "busy bags" for long waits when we travel with little kids. Extra ponchos from the dollar store would be easy to carry too if going during a rainy time.
