I was in the same position as you.. we have an opportunity to stay at Ramadas you mentioned or either of the Super 8 Motels for a great price so I had to do a bit of research on those hotels.
We stayed at the Super 8 Anaheim (on W. Katella) when we went to DL last (Sept 2011) and we're staying there again this October. It's definitely a no frills type Motel, and is good if you're just looking for a clean place to sleep (our family is not the "go back to the hotel and take a break" type). There's a pool and jacuzzi and they just remodeled the interior of the rooms. Rooms were a decent size, didn't feel cramped. Sink is outside the shower/toilet area (made it easier for us to get ready).
The only complaint I had was that the shower heads are placed really low... I'm 5'4 and I had to duck down a bit to wash my hair.. I've heard of temperature fluctuations, but we didn't experience it.
Breakfast was basic with toast, waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, donuts, juice, coffee.. but hey it was free, and that's what we normally eat at home so I'm fine with those offerings. I believe it opens at 6am but the line was long when we got there around 8, however, the line moved fairly quickly (again before renovations). The breakfast dining room was small for the amount of people that were eating (the size of one of their rooms) so a lot of people just went back to their rooms to eat. We just ate there and shared our table with a nice older couple that gave my DD (3 at the time) a trading pin to celebrate her first trip. I grabbed too much food so I packed what we didn't eat for snacks.
We also were able to watch the fireworks from their rooftop patio.
Walking to the park took about 15-20 minutes (I was 7 1/2 mo pregnant back then so it took us closer to 20 minutes)
Ramada Plaza is a tiny bit closer (there's a small motel separating Super 8 and Ramada Plaza) and I've read they have a better breakfast, but in my family's case, we see the motel/hotel as just a place to sleep and we're on an extremely tight budget so we went with the Super 8.
As for the Ramada North or Super 8 on
Disneyland Drive, I didn't even research too much because it's too far of a walk for us and I don't want deal with the ART so I don't know much about them.
Good luck with your research/decision!!
