Has anyone stayed here b4? We are looking at staying in the King Jacuzzi Suite. They said the room has a balcony and you can see the fireworks from your room. I was just wondering how the hotel is? Service, rooms etc? Thanks :)

We stayed here a couple years ago. It was OK, of course we were only in a standard room, but I think it had a king bed. The 2nd room we had was clean but the bed was a little hard (OK if you like a firm mattress). The 1st room had a broken bed, that they "fixed" once and it broke again, so they moved us. The staff was fine, the "breakfast" was ceral/milk/juice/danishes/fruit and I believe they had a limit on what you could take (i.e. one carton of milk per person type thing).

Personally I probably would pick one of the other hotels that are closer to the DL crosswalk than RM. We paid a little over $100 for the room at RM in May 2006. We stayed at the Tropicana last weekend for $84 for a Sat night. We had a nice room with a king bed, no view of the firework though. We have also stayed at the Best Western Anaheim Inn and it was ~$95/night, that was May 2007, that room was clean and comfortable and there was 4 of us in it. Again no view of the fireworks.

I wouldn't rule out RM if I got a really good deal, but I have been able to find better deals at the other hotels that are a little closer and when you are at DL, ever step counts! :rotfl:
