Wondering if this hotel is able to hold bags since we get there earlier than check in and check out hours before we leave for the airport. Also wondering how the breakfast is as well as any other things I should know about this motel.
We have stayed there 3 times in the last few months. We have stayed in a Premium suite (upgraded when there was a huge issue with dirty regular room at check in), regular room, and Premium room (upgrade thanks to AP).
Good:
Free parking
Free parking day of checkout; I believe you can park until at least 3pm but late checkout is AP perk so you may want to call to confirm.
Free breakfast (Try to get breakfast an hour before the parks open or it gets really crowded.)
Friendly staff.
The pool is pretty cute for a motel.
Very close walk into the parks.
Bad:
It is dirty. Even the new rooms are not being kept up. The housekeepers are helpful and appear to be hustling so I am pretty sure they just don't staff enough housekeepers to enable them to do a thorough -- or even basic -- job. They run out of towels frequently; thankfully the housekeeper usually returns once the laundry is done to give us new towels. To be fair, I have never seen an insect of any type in the rooms and the level of clean I expect may be higher than what other people expect.
Wifi is awful, and we've stayed right across from the office and all the way to the back -- no difference. The best spot for wifi there is near the pool -- but not all the way out to the rooms that are near the pool.
Bottom line: It is one of the cheapest close motels so weigh that fact against your threshold for staying in a dirty motel.
