Hey does anyone know if Ralph Brennan's has the full menu right now? I saw a post on one of my Facebook groups where someone posted a picture of the steak dish, the post alluded to getting the dish during a recent visit. I've been stalking the Disney site to see when the limited menu would go away and I still see that limited menu. Just kind of wondering if they've moved back to the full menu and just didn't update the website.

That's the menu I've been seeing. I wish I could find the post now but it's buried somewhere. Hopefully by the time we make it back down there the full menu is back. We'll still go because they have my husband's favorite dish but none of my go-tos are on the limited menu.

Best thing they produce is the beignets. The rest is seriously meh.

He likes the pasta jambalaya, I personally feel the recipe I came up with at home is better. 😄

He is a once every three to four years Disney trip person and I am an at least every year, some years two or three trips. Anything to get him down there I'll use to my advantage.

Exactly. I make better jambalaya and gumbo at home.

I love the regular menu, especially the tournedos of beef or whatever they're called. They come with crawfish mashed potatoes and yummy green beans. My sister and I split that and pre-order the double chocolate bread pudding. MMMMMMM!!!! Oh, and the bananas foster made at your table is also fabulous! However, the temporary menu has nothing on it that sounds great to me. Here's a snip of the regular menu:

This is how I feel. I love the regular menu, it's our fun adult night out. We drink wine and really just relax. I get that same meal and nothing on the limited menu looks good. I will absolutely still go because I'm such a wonderful wife though. ;)

We've enjoyed Brennan's every time we have gone. I agree its a nice adult night out. And, yes, the full menu is where its at. I enjoy the serious Mint Julep. We've also seen/listened to Kirk Andre Wilson at the piano every time we have gone. Very enjoyable.
We went at the end of November 2020, had the pasta jambalaya and beignets on the balcony and it was good, but not the whole experience that we really would like. But that's the current limitations.

I stand by my comment that the only worthwhile thing from RBJC is the beignets.

I know, right?! We've given that place so many chances, as we want them to be good! The only wow we've had there is that my husband and I attended a private happy hour event that was executed really well and the appetizers were delicious. (maybe it was a free booze speaking)

My BFF and I always go to Ralph Brennan's when we can, but we were so disappointed with the temporary menu last December that we are opting for something else when we're there this weekend. If the full menu were available, we would absolutely go there, but there really isn't anything on the limited menu to recommend it.

I'm actually happy to hear all this. My daughter and I went for the first time last month. I didn't realize they had a limited menu, it makes sense, I just didn't think of that. We were really disappointed in the choices. We got the calamari which was good and the salad which was mediocre. he main reason we went was I wanted the snickerdoodle specialty beignets. I didn't realize you could only order those at the express window, that the restaurant wouldn't serve them. Lesson learned but not in a hurry to go back.

Is that true for all of the beignets, or just the specialty ones? We have dinner reservations at RB's the first week of May (our first day back to DL), and I really want to get the bananas foster glazed beignets.
