WDWAurora - You're not an "Alumnae" because there's only one of you -- it is the plural of "alumna." I think "alumnus" is generally considered acceptable for either sex, but, if you're a woman, you can also call yourself an alumna.

That's right...alumnae is plural for a group of females, right? And it's alumni for all males or mixed...I think anyway.
