We are planning a Disney trip(along with some other stuff we're going to do in FL)in 2004. We will only have 3 days to spend at the four parks. What rides/Shows,etc are must-do/see attractions?

Thanking you in advance,
Disney Researcher

Holy smokes! 3 days...I would first determine what it is that you would like to do. Do you have children? Ages...or is it just you and DH?...that really makes all the difference in the world..Think about what you like and then go from there.

You've come to a great site for planning.

Okay I'm going to give you my top 5 things including shows and rides that if I only had 3 days would be a must.

#1 FANTASMIC SHOW AT MGM - It is my favorite thing period!!
#2 TEST TRACK RIDE AT EPCOT - Just totally fun!
#3 SPACE SHIP EARTH THE BALL AT EPCOT - Memories...corny but I love this ride!
#4 ILLUMINATIONS SHOW AT EPCOT - WOW!
#5 HAUNTED MANSION AT MAGIC KINGDOM - Again memories and fun!

Now just in case here are 6-10

#6 SPLASH MOUNTAIN AT MAGIC KINGDOM
#7 BEAUTY AND THE BEAST SHOW AT MGM
#8 TARZAN SHOW AT ANIMAL KINGDOM
#9 KALI RIVER RAPIDS AT ANIMAL KINGDOM - YOU WILL GET WET!
#10 TINKERBELLS FLIGHT AT MAGIC KINGDOM or Fantasy in the Sky but it doesn't happen every night.

I don't think I could do my favorites in 3 days! I'm not a thrill ride person so keep that in mind.
Here's my list:
Fantasmic at MGM
The Festival of the Lion King at AK
Buzz Lightyear's Space Rnager Spin at MK
Fireworks at MK. OH, heck-all of MK
The lands in Epcot. Eat your way around the world!
Nope, I can't do it. I love it all!:p

Wow...thanks guys. We are childless at present, so no kids this trip.
I am writing all this stuff down in my little notebook that I have started for the upcoming trip. What I'm TRYING to convince my husband to do is combine 3 days at WDW with a 3/4 day Disney cruise.
We'll see what happens.;)

MK-Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear,Spectromagic parade
MGM-Tower of terror,Rockin Rollercoaster,Little Mermaid,,Beauty and the Beast show, Fantasmic show
Epcot-Test Track, Spaceship earth,Cranuim Command(in the Wonders of Life),walk the World Showcase, IllumiNations
AK-Kilimanjaro safari, Gorilla Falls, Maharajah Jungle Trek,It's Tough to be a bug,the Lion King show

These are the choices of a 40 and 44 year old couple, no kids.

Let's see, I too have no kids, so hopefully I'll be able to make some helpful suggestions for those traveling without kids. I don't ride thrill rides though (motion sickness).

Magic Kingdom:

1) Haunted Mansion
2) Pirates of the Caribbean
3) Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (a GREAT ride for guys--you get points for shooting targets while riding like being in a video game)
4) Fantasy in the Sky fireworks
5) Space Mountain (I haven't ridden it since it's a roller coaster, but it's classic Disney and wonderful from what I hear)

Epcot:

1) Spaceship Earth (my favorite ride at WDW)
2) The American Adventure show
3) Illuminations
4) Tapestry of Dreams parade
5) El Rio del Tiempo boat ride in Mexico

Disney-MGM Studios:

1) Fantasmic
2) The Great Movie Ride
3) Who Wants to Be a Millionaire-Play It
4) Muppets 3-D

Animal Kingdom:

1) Kilimanjaro Safari--it's amazing!
2) Festival of the Lion King show
3) Pangani Forest Exploration Trail
4) Maharaja Jungle Trek

Hope this helps! :)
