I wish I knew that about requesting a raised toilet seat. We are a group of seniors and it would have been helpful. We do not need a HA room, at least not for now. Who would you ask to suggest maybe to have rooms inbetween handicap and "regular rooms". We were in a 2 bedroom dedicated room at OKW. We discussed that maybe in the main bathroom, a raised toilet would be good. In units that have a lockoff, that would not work. We figured that if there were children in the dedicated 2 bedroom, that they would be where the queen beds were located and the parents in the master bedroom.
We had changed rooms. In the first room, the beds were so high, we just laughed. But it was quite hard for my parents (in their 80s) to get into the bed. These were the queen beds. A step would have been helpful.
A nightlite would be nice in the bathroom too.
Also, a pair of scissors. I learned the hard way and now pack a pair of scissors.
