Rainy Days

depends on where you are!

if its raining, yes, SOME rides stop operating. Mainly those that have an outside section, such as Test Track. During inclement weather, Test Track ceases to operate. I've never been in line during a storm, so i don't know if people in line are given passes to come back or not.

I would imagine that other rides that go outside (off the top of my head, Big Thunder Mountain, Kali River Rapids, Dumbo) also operate on the idea that rain (and especially lightning in that part of florida) would be reason to shut down the ride during a storm.

Not closed due to rain and it seems to hold the crowds down and you can really see many attractions with little wait. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Water parks close during thunderstorms(so do your resort pools). We had Lights, Motors, Actions stopped for about 15 min because there was "electrical activity in the area"

I've spent two days at MK in "all day rains". They cancelled parades both times but the only attraction closed was the old skyway (no longer in existence - unfortunately).

Rides still do go on in the rain. I should know- I rode Splash Mt. FIVE times in a row once in the rain! :goodvibes Besides getting soaked, there was no one else on.

Yep and the feel of rain on your face when riding BTMRR is very cool in more ways than one. :)
