I have a coworker who is making a weekend trip this weekend to celebrate his anniversary. We just looked at the weather forecast and it's not so good...

Any suggestions for things he can do? They go down once a year, so they're familiar with the parks, but I'm looking for things they might not usually do... etc... does that make sense? Kind of like, I have been down for the last 5 years in a row, however last year was the first time I went into the Land.. I've already suggested Spaceship Earth since it might be their last chance...

PLEASE HELP! :(

We spent a rainy cold day in the Innoventions areas at Epcot one year. Because of the rain (and the cold and it being early Feb) the place was deserted. On rainy days I vote for Epcot. There's a lot to do inside.
If you have a car, you can always go the preium outlets and go shopping!

We also found the titanic Exhibit was very good, but that would only take a few hours and again, you need a car.

Disneyquest, take in a movie at PI, reserve a tour, enjoy a drink in one of the resort lobbies. There are several tours too many to choose from. Hey put on some old sneakers, grab a poncho and tromp thru it. Unless there is lightening dont let it stop you.

How about resort hopping. You wouldn't be in the rain that much.

Anytime we have a rainy day during our stay, we usually go to the MK. We think its the best park in the rain because it is very compact and the attractions are all very close together. You can do all of Fantasyland, for example, and hardly even step out in the rain.

Unlike Rpsemont, we don't like EPCOT in the rain because the pavillions are all so widely spaced. You get soaked going from one to the next. Though shopping your way through World Showcase is a nice way to spend some time and stay relatively dry.

Resort hopping is good - especially making the monorail cycle. Shop, sightsee, eat, etc. at Contemp, Poly and GF.

We used to do DTD when we got rained out.

I had the chance on 8/25 during the afternoon lightning storm to teach my DS the fine art of enjoying sushi in the lounge in Japan at Epcot...

Epcot and rain is a tradition in my family, lol!

For some reason, every time we go to Epcot (no matter the season), it rains. If we're in Imagination when it starts then it will storm like the world's about to end (but then be completely cloudless and sunny when we finish the ride). If we're near Japan, it will start a long, heavy, somewhat lovely downpour, so we run like heck for Mitsukoshi. (I had NEVER been in Mitsukoshi when I was dry until I moved here, lol!)

We usually go over to Epcot as well because you can spend a lot of time in some of the pavilions. One rainy day we played around with all the hands on stuff in the Wonders of Life. We would never have taken the time otherwise.

Sometimes the rain can be a good thing. Because many people don't like to do a park in the rain the crowds will be very light. Last year I was at the Animal Kingdom when it was raining and there were hardly any people in line for the Festival of the Lion King show. They let us sit right in the front row which is usually reserved for wheelchairs. It was fantastic being so close to the actors.

If it rains it is nice to stay at your resort and have a rest :)

I also like to resort hop... you don't feel like you are wasting time and can visit some of the other hotels and poke around.

If the rain is not too heavy, then a park might be a good decision.. the crowds may be light and you can get alot accomplished.

I would not recommend Disney Quest... when it rains this place is packed
