Rainy Day Refunds

Assuming you're in Epcot, I think that is a tougher park to be in when it's raining for the whole day. There aren't many rides to begin with, they are far apart from each other and Test Track closes. I also don't think it's fun to walk around the World Showcase in the rain. If you don't have hoppers I would probably head out on the monorail and explore the activities happening at the monorail hotels. That's why I like Disney. There is always something to do.

Disney doesn't give a refund when it rains. As PP said, it rains a lot in Florida. Since the forecast was for rain all day, could you have gone a different day if getting wet was going to be a problem for your family?

We were in HS today from 9am till 1:30. We enjoyed four rides and lunch at Sci Fi.
We stayed dry with rain jackets with Disney ponchos over them. We Had fun. We made the best of it. It will be sunny tomorrow.

I was there too! From 10-3pm. Did Tower twice, Slinky twice, Rockin twice, mermaid and mania once. Then ate at Sci Fi. We come from a place where we might get an inch or rain all year. Was very different for us today but with ponchos and umbrellas we did great!

I was at MK today. The downside is that this was probably the most miserable day I have spent at a Disney park - cool (mid-50s), a bit of wind, and continuous but not heavy rain. The up side is that I only had to use one of my three scheduled FP and visited all the attractions I wanted, walking on through standby. I agree that it is an uncomfortable, unpleasant day, but a lot of people are trying to make the best of it.

Any chance Disney would refund or give us back our daypass on an extremely rainy day? It’s been horrible. We can’t even get from one pavilion for to another? We have ponchos, but we are all still soaked. Our fastpass got cancelled. We have to leave, my kids are going to get sick.

I remember the last thread you started here. Have your kids been able to wait in lines with you? I hope you didn’t go through with your plan of having them cut in line.
