We leave tomorrow night!!!! :cool1: But rain is still being predicted for some of my trip. :sad1: We'll be there Thurs 1/3 to Tues. 1/8. Can anyone help me come up with a rainy day plan? I signed up for RideMax, so I'm trying to plug in things that are good to do if it rains.

Here's a few thoughts I had:

Tiki Room
Talk with Crush
That animation thing at DCA

What rides would be good to plug in? :confused3 We'll be doing EE, so we'll have knocked out Fantasyland (hopefully).

There are a lot of rides that are inside: Space Mtn, Buzz Lightyear, Star Tours, Small World, Pirates, Indiana Jones, Haunted Mansion, Snow White, Peter Pan & more.

Then in California Adventures: Tower of Terror, Soarin', Tough to be a Bug movie.

Just put on a poncho and go for it. That was the advice we were given for our trip. We didnt have any rain to speak of, just a few sprinkles. Buy some disposable ponchos at target for 99 cents. I bought a bunch and threw them in my backpack. We could wear them for the day and then throw them away. Easier than trying to refold the used wet ones.

We also got some rain boots for the kids, so they would be free to play in the puddles if there were any. We didnt have any.

Have fun.

I second the ponchos. The sweetpea and I always take ponchos on days that there might be rain. They sell them in the park, but when it starts to rain, the lines to buy them are long. Having them ahead of time works for us. Also at DL you can do Inoventions to get out of the rain, and at DCA you can do Animation.

In DL:
Innoventions
First 50 Years in the Opera House

In DCA:
Muppets 3-D
Great Hearth in Lobby at GCH (great place to warm up)

Disposable ponchos is a great idea, especially since I've had no luck finding raincoats here. Thanks!:thumbsup2

Ooh, the Grand Hearth sounds sooo cozy!! I've never been inside the GCH before. Thanks for the tip.:)

We're gonna try to not let the threat of rain get us down. No matter what we'll have fun, and maybe it will thin the crowds out, even just a bit.

What a great time to see Aladdin the Musical? It is really good & hey! we might see you there! We arrive tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

Even though we normally go during August, there was 1 day a few years back that it rained and the park was nearly empty. We had an excellent time. As long as there is no one in your party that does not melt, enjoy it.

When we went the beginning of December it rained one whole day. The park was surprisingly busy but the rides were not. We had a blast. Since we were already wet we hit GRR and SM. But believe it or not one of the rides we got the wetest on was Dumbo lol. It was so fun. Just go enjoy the park. We bought the ponchos in the park and paid I believe $6.00 for kids and $7 or 8 for adults. Now the kids have an extra souviner. Have fun on your trip and I hope you get dreamed!

Grizzly Run and Splash Mt.

Your already wet, might as well go ride it a few hundred times... :)

Ahhhh, I'm trying not to freak out, but I am. I admit it... I'm totally freaking. Rain starting Thurs. evening all the way through Monday:sad2:

I'm going to cry if they cancel ELP the whole time I'm there:(

Send dry vibes our way!!!!
